Yes, a massive congratulation to my dear mother, for having paced herself superbly and making it to her 100th year upon the Good Planet Earth!  Well done, my dear mother.  Even if, when asked how you feel for having made it to this milestone.   One which it is still not given to made many to made, since Biblical days when people purportedly lived for hundreds of years.  Your response was that 'I feel no different than I felt in earlier years.  Yes, of course my dear mother does feel somewhat different, such as the annoying impact of her aches and pains, her still unrecovered full vision, and her having to rely on the support of her walking frame.  Of course she feels more contained, more restricted by increasingly problematic health and the need for her to negotiate her movements more carefully and with added vigilance.  Yes, all of those things and more will have caused my dear mother to modify, in some way, her feelings about the impact of her present age.  T

It is our time to make what we will of it, for better or worse, and not that of the gods or 'God.'  After all, it should be clear to all, including the faithful, that the gods of failed to bring peace to the world and are doomed to continue to fail.   Not least because they are the creations of and made in the images and mentality of our unenlightened warring ancestors. We, the human race, is doomed while we continue to put aside our higher intellect and humanity, and submit ourselves to the gods of old, of our ancestors. Which is why humanity and intellectual prescience require, demands that President Imran Khan demonstrate courage free all Pakistani citizens who have been convicted of 'blasphemic' offences.' No just human would have it any other way, and neither would any judicious, logical, merciful and compassionate god.

A cemetery or place of the dead is the destination or destiny of all humans, irrespective of the different paths or routes which take us there.  It is given to us by our intellect to anticipate the nothingness, the void which lies beyond death, but not to experience it after the fact of our death. Which is why the only purpose of our existence is what are are able to realise during our life-time. Live life enjoyable, wherever and whenever you can and be no martyr, because there is no point in martyrdom.

President Imran Khan could show the level of beneficence and compassion which Pakistan's judiciary is lacking.  But, of course, he, like others now and before him, who has willingly or forcefully intellectually and morally and physically chained to the irrationality of Islamic religious dogma.  The corrupt and decadent religious mafia and extremists in Pakistan will think nothing of putting an end to his life.  You see, this matter is nothing to do with 'God'; it is al about religious dogma being used to keep Pakistan in a state of religious coercion and stagnation.  Along with all the associated vices, such as lack of political, social, economic and secular advancement. Like the concept of being an 'heretic', or a 'witch', the concept and practice of 'blasphemic laws', do not have any logical place in contemporary human societies. But no, no one did, and it was left to me to disrupt what seemed like a conspiracy of nobody seeing or hearing what hailed my dear mother, and volunteering to some help.  And so it was that I broke the silence by calling out to a passing but unnoticing nurse.  She seemed not a great deal more confident than I was about how to handle this kind of unexpected emergency.  Nevertheless, she took some appropriate action which led to my dear mother being seen by the Consultant Eye doctor within a matter of minutes which seemed to have still been extended ones.  Being concerned that my dear mother might have had a minor stroke, the Consultant contacted the Stroke Unit in his endeavour to get her an urgent appointment.  By this time my dear mother had regained her composure and shortly after we were discharged to return home to await the appointment from the Stroke Unit.  To be continued!

As I watched her showing signs of extreme tiredness or sleepiness, before she began the process of falling to her left as she sat on the chair next to me.  No sooner did I quickly arrested her fall and held her securely on her chair by placing my left arm around her shoulder.  Than her eyes began to bulge and assumed a glazed and unseeing appearance.  My alarm became more intense as I watched her seemingly frightened but uncomprehending face became more distorted.   And her unseen tongue working rapidly in her mouth and dislodging her not securely fitted top and bottom full dentures.  Truth to tell; I also became startled by the thought of, what shall I do? After all, we are in a hospital waiting room with scores of other people, both patients and their relatives and friends.  Surely, I thought, they must be seeing what is happening to my dear mother?  Surely, a caring person, waiting patient or nursing staff will come and enquire, as they sometimes

If is not given to us humans, to do good or evil on behalf of the gods. It is for the gods to as they wish, by themselves, because only them can they evidence their attributed or inherent power.
