Now, it is the case that, there seems to be very little happening in the 'Americas', particularly the countries of South America, which is positive and pleasing to hear about or to see.  Now, of course the real story, as it were, about what is happening in that hemisphere.   Will be more complex, more varied, more nuanced that those of us who do not live there, are being told about by the popular and specialist media.  Depending on their particular perspectives, what they want to say about what is happening and what is not. We have and are still hearing about the apparently endless hell of Mexico.  Where hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Mexicans are having their lives extinguished.   And their happiness blighted by the murderous gangs which have become so much an integrated part of private and public Mexican live.  The murderers who have almost become an ineradicable cancer in the body of Mexican society.  But still, Mexico, although having

For many countries, Remembrance Day is upon us again.  But just what is it that the living, most of whom were not alive and living during the barbaric and murderous, genocidal years, months, days, hours, minutes and infinity of World Wars One and Two?  What is it that we should be remembering or persuaded to 'remember,' about those days of merciless slaughtering of humans and animals, and the destruction of their lives? In whose interests are their countries being built and run for?
