So, no, if we were to compare the 'nation family' with the human 'family system.' It is not unusual that a constituent section, be it ethnic, cultural or religious, should or might want to become independent of the composite nation. Of course, that does not mean that that would be or is a good thing. In fact, all things being equal, by which I mean that all the constituent parts of the nation family are being treated with reasonably equal respect and provision of goods and services, etc. The tendency towards individual peoples becoming independent from the core nation is not, in my view, a good or desirable thing. Indeed, it would appear at times that, within the human species, their is an almost irreconcilable conflict of two forces.
