JUST A THOUGHT ON THE SECRETARY GENERAL'S MISSED OPPORTUNITY.
So, considering how the current Secretary General has missed the grand opportunity to put the case for the continuation of the ' Commonwealth of nations', at the recent funeral of the late British Queen, has seen not been guilty of a gross dereliction of her duty to that organisation 🤔 It am of the firm opinion that was, and probably still is. I mean, considering that many member nations of the Commonwealth are currently thinking of whether their best interests are still predicated upon them remaining in the organisation, or in them leaving it and pursuing different paths. The Secretary General could not have asked for a better opportunity than the funeral of the late Monarch to make a concise but powerful statement to the world, about the continuing relevance of the Commonwealth, and why the Monarchy should continue to support it.
