A Massive Congratulation to Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and their indubitable Team Mercedes, for having, with a little help from the winds of fate, completed a 1,2 finish in the British Grand Prix race of the 3017 Formula 1 season. Congratulation also to Kimi Raikkonen, for having made P.3 position, after ill-fate intervened in the penultimate lap, to rob him of his, until then, seemingly certain P.2 position, by having his tired shredded.  A fate which was also meted out to Sebastian Vettel, robbing him of his predicted P.4 position, and giving him P.7 instead, after both he, Kimi and Verstappen,were able to return to the Pit to change their shredded tires. But this race was all or mostly about Lewis Hamilton, and, to a lesser extent, about Valtteri Bottas, who promoted himself from P.9 to second place. No, it makes not sense at all. That humans should be demanding so little of the gods. Should be demanding less of the gods than they, the believers and the faithful, are demand of themselves and other humans. If the gods be so powerful and omnipotent, then they should be doing more, in order to maintain the trust of the 'faithful and the believers'.  It is the gods who should be offering humans salvation, not because of our good works, but because of the unconditional grace of the gods.  Instead, it is the 'faithful' and the 'believers' who are continuing to bow down and worship the gods. Even though they, the gods, are reneging on providing any worthwhile services for humans. Which begs the question: Are the gods failing to deliver the help which the compassionate 'faithful' and the 'believers' say they will and are providing, simply because they do not really exist and/or have the power to do so?  After all, humans have n

America is still given to throwing its weight around forcefully. It considers itself to be the 'leader of the free world', whatever that is.  As well as of the world, in general. Its main methodology or modus operandi to try to enforce its 'order', through military, economic, political and covert action.  This we can see from the instability it and its primary allies, Nato and Saudi Arabia and the other GCC states, are generating in the Middle East.  With their strategic goals being to, a. continue to secure the State of Israel; b. Across the Atlantic we go, and here, in the formerly great United States of America.   We find the newly elected President Donald Trump, busily dismantling the conventions, institutions, and ethos, which, many people would argue, had been the things which had given America the appearance of being 'great.'  I say 'formerly great', because, in arguing that he wants to make America 'great again', President Trump is suggesting, if not asserting.   That America 'is not great' anymore, and he is not saying so by way of humility, but rather, in a selfish way. I have not touched on what is happening in the southern hemisphere of North America.
