AMERICAN DREAM/NIGHTMARE - BIDEN 'BETTER' THAN TRUMP BUT THE TOXICITY REMAINS!!! PART 1.

Image
Four years was a long time.  Four years was long enough for the former President Donald Trump and his Administration to bring an end, permanently or temporarily.   To the path which his predecessor, former President Barak Obama, had set the American nation and travelled for the previous 8 years.  Having done so, Donald Trump had set his and his Republicon's new path and travelled it, for what we knew would have been, and have now experienced as an eventful 4 years.  Yes, 4 years has been a long time, even though, now that we are at the end, rather than the beginning of it.   It seems to have not been so long, as we reflect upon it, and what had occurred during its passage.  For those of us who were not Trump's and the Republicons' fans.   We had hope that at the end of his tenure, his successor, who we now know to be President Biden.   Could repair the damage we expect President Trump to inflict on the America's, the United States' infrastructure and functionality

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON WHICH 'FREEDOMS' ARE OF GREATER IMPORTANCE. PART 20.

The human child does not born with any innate sense of fear, or, indeed, love of what he/she will encounter in the light of the world, as it were.  As we develop and are taught about what is expected of us.   So are we initiated into what we should fear and avoid. What we should love, value and aspire towards and move to attain or achieve. And what is probably the top of the list of the things we should or are taught to fear?  Yes, it is probably the act of dying, whether it is us who are doing the dying, or it is people we love.  And, what is, probably most ironically, at the top of the list of the things to be valued, love and aspired towards?  Yes, life. Life which we have told by the United Nations Convention on Human Rights, that each of us 'have a right to have' and enjoy. And yet, how can we be said to have ' a right to life ', if we are not allowed to have and exercise what could be seen as the 'corollary right'.  To be continued!

FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX : IS LEWIS HAMILTON ABOUT TO ANNOUNCE HIS RETIREMENT FROM FORMULA 1? THE END.

That of having to accept that his departure from the sports is now more likely than unlikely.  They/we, in order to adjust to this eventuality and minimise the adverse psychological impact, must move into anticipatory mode.  We must begin to look beyond watching Lewis Hamilton in Formula 1 grand prix.   And contemplate transferring our affections and our loyalty to other racers, or turn away from it, if we cannot successfully do so. It is very unfortunate that Hamilton has failed to give his fans any reassurance or confirmation about his intentions.   And, as such, it is reasonable that we/they should be thinking the worse, and beginning to prepare for it. Much greater is the disappointment from the failures of those from who we expect much.  Of course, it could also be our failure, if we happen to have expected more than our 'idol' or 'champion' was able, capable and/or willing to deliver.

Lewis Hamilton is a 7 times Formula 1 World Champion Driver.  And yes, being of the age that he now is, and when we compare it with that of other Formula 1 drivers before him, we know that he is likely to retire or have to retire in the next few years However, as Lewis Hamilton's new Mercedes contract talks drag on, and on, and on, and on, like the proverbial ariston, it raises many questions. Qestions such as, Is Lewis taking his fans for granted, by keeping them in the dark? Is he ignoring his fans?  Is it likely that Lewis could seemingly, abruptly announce that he has retired from Formula 1 racing and will not be returning to the sports for the 2021 Formula 1 Grand Prix seasons?  Questions such as, what is the reason/reasons for this long drawn out contract discussion?  Is it about Lewis wanting more money than Mercedes are willing to pay him?  Yes, is it about Lewis giving up on some of his principles?  Such as his championing of BLM and TakingAKnee?   Is it really about the

No, he does not want to or have any desire to return to it.  As much as a healthy person does not want to return to being a child or regress into or take refuge in childhood.  It seems to be the case that Kazaliwa, in not being bitter about having done time.  Is or might be of the view that it was right that he should have done it for the harm he has caused others, in the first count.  And that, secondly, he had learnt positive lessons from having done that time and having both the negative and positive experiences he has had.   In fact, such is his world-view, that he will at times considered that there were no 'negative lessons.'  That all the lessons he had learnt were positive, because of what he made of them, and how they have impacted upon his life.  All of which can be construed as evidence of Kazaliwa's maturity. But yes, there were times when his post-jail relationship with his parents would become very fraught, very strained and volatile.  To be continued!
