IS RELIGION THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE? THE END..

Image
If religion, any religion, tells us that our fate is in the hands of the gods, sentient gods, then it is not the truth.  Atleast, not the truth which is capable of setting humans free. But rather that which is designed to keep us chained to the particular religious doctrine.  And is therefore intended to be a deception which is intended to cause us to stray from the path which could lead us to 'the ultimate truth.'  To enlightenment and acceptance of our destiny to be obliterated.  Yes, the attainment of 'paradise', if you like, in as much as 'paradise' is a 'state of bliss.'  A 'place and time' where ergosumness does not feature, and therefore neither does pain nor pleasure exist.  Where no desires exists nor are unfulfilled. A 'time and space' where oneness fills the void, but without the capacity, the awareness to perceive it as such. But this is not what the religions of men, of humans, the theistic, t

But, just if we were to compare that with the progress of the Baku Grand Prix, the racers could have been exclaiming: 'Baku, where is your Fear? However, for now, the adrenaline which has saturated they blood of the Formula 1 racers and their teams, and, yes, the bated breath with which many of us have watched the unfolding of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.  Has now abated and dispersed. It has been replaced with the expectations we have of the Spanish Grand Prix.  We need to see how the tightly fought and finely balanced struggle, competition between Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas develops. As it is now still too close to call; to show evidence of why the one or the other is more likely to win the 2019 Drivers' World Championship.  Yes, if you give greater weight to Hamilton more experience and having won 5 World Championships, then that might be considered sufficient to predict that he could win it again this season.  But that is about the past,

So, A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Bottas and Hamilton for making it into their 4th P.1 and P.2 race achievement of the 2019 Season, in as many races.  And to Team Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel, A Big Congratulation for making it to P.3.   Even if this placement represents the unrealisation, an under-achievement of Ferrari's true racing potential. The Baku Circuit did not proved itself to be as brutal and uncompromising during the race, as it had been during the Practice and Qualifying sessions.  This might have been due to the destructive energies, the harbingers, the valkyries', and the djinns, inhabiting critical points along it.   Having had their fill of 'blood' from the drivers and cars they have snared and drawn into their deadly embraces.  During the Practice and Qualifying sessions. And so it was that all the racers were able to navigate the Baku Circuit as if it was little more than a pet or domesticated tiger. If

SRI LANKAN MASSACRE AND THE TERROR OF THE 'RELIGIOUS 'HUMANOIDS. THE END...

Do their God and religion place so little value on human lives and happiness?  If so, then, who would want to willing embrace and serve such a religion, such a merciless and uncompassionate 'God'? I listened to one of the grieving Sri Lankan Priest telling the world how he 'has forgiven' the cold and ruthless murderers of so many innocent people.  Explaining that he has done so because that is what 'the Lord' teaches them to do.  But I am not sure that this is the right approach. When people are persistently trying to and killing and maiming you, 'forgiveness' is likely to encourage them rather than dissuade them.  Forgiving them does not elicit their respect or temper their hatred. How can it, when, devoid of their humanity, they are no longer capable of displaying love and empathy. With the same token, it seems to me that it is now highly questionable for 'true Muslims', let me say, pious and compassionate Muslims.

It is given to all sentient humans to know their destiny, which is the same for all of us.   Although only to some of us, except in times of widespread conflicts and wars, have prior knowledge of the mean/s, fate, by which we will submit to our destiny. And so it is for Team Mercedes' two ace drivers, the reigning World Champion, Lewis Hamilton, and the 'self-remodeled', Valtteri Bottas.   That, providing most things remain equal, with them travelling along roughly the same trajectory as they are now doing.  One or the other is very likely to become the 2019 Formula 1 Drivers' World Champion.  Although it is now too close to call, with Valtteri Bottas having converted his Pole position on Saturday, into winning the 2019 Baku Grand Prix.  Without any real and sustained  challenge from his team mate, Lewis Hamilton.  An event which has resulted in Bottas making his 6 points Championship deficit against Hamilton, into a one point advant

BAKU GRAND PRIX QUALIFYING - TEAM MERCEDES STILL ON TOP WITH P.1 AND P.2

Azerbaijan is one of those Eastern countries which is known for its martial past, but, it seems, has had to contend with the martial spirit of the apparently fearless Formula 1 racers who, year after year, combat its somewhat death defying Baku race circuit.  As so it was that, on Qualifying on Saturday, the nearly unyielding Circuit extracted cars after cars, and damaged egos from those wanting to qualifying and take the coveted Pole position for Sunday's race.  Amongst those drives who had to pay the gut-wrenching price of being drawn into shielded walls of the track, were Kubica and the currently massively impressive Charles Leclerc, who is seemingly fated to win at least one World Championship.  Hopefully, Lewis, Bottas and Vettel, might be thinking, not the current one. And just to reinforce their aspiration to achieving this Championship, notwithstanding their respect and admiration for the young Leclerc.   Team Mercedes extracted a Pole for Bot

AN ENIGMATIC AND POIGNANT JOURNEY AROUND MY AGEING AND EVOLVING MOTHER! PART 34.

But, sadly, this is not how it oftentimes is, with my dear mother, as she continues to reflect, to recount how much better things were, in the early years.  And how difficult people were, then, as she still perceives them to be, now. How the world is not getting better, which many of us can agree with. And so my dear mother continues to live her life, seemingly expecting that all should be well with and for her.   And having less tolerance towards the prevalent afflictions of aches and pains, deteriorating mobility and agility, and the limited success of those of her fellow humans.  Whom she expects to banish such afflictions from her life. As if they are miracle-workers, and not of the fallible species of humans to which she belongs.  Not, it seems to me, sufficiently displaying the wisdom which, had she been learning the lesson which life teaches, is that, the final healer of a terminally failing body, is death. But, as I have already observed, all is
