JUST A LITTLE THOUGHT - ON THE ITALIAN ELECTION, AND WHY ITALIAN SHOULD MAKE FIVE STAR MOVEMENT THEIR CHOICE!

Image
It is back to the polls for the Italians, again, as they make another attempt to help their politicians to form a stable government to govern over them.  And, as they do so, the more astute and concerned among them might well be thinking. What is wrong with Italy and us Italians? Why can we not have a stable and competent government to lead and govern over us?  The French, the Germans and, yes, the Spanish and Portuguese, even, are doing much better than us; notwithstanding the Catalan issue.  But not us, not us Italians; why, are we the accursed of Europe? Have we become too well adjusted to scandals, chaos and complacency and fighting amongst ourselves? Have we become fearful of political stability? Yes, Italians might well be thinking that they have more questions to ask of their politicians and political parties than there are worthwhile answers to be had.  And, to some extent, that is not really any different to what it is any other European or other countr

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON FOCUSING ON THE GOOD DAYS TO LIVE..

Image
The thoughts of dying and death are likely to be experienced by every sentient human.   Just as how the reality of dying and death, the latter probably only momentarily, must be experienced by all living beings, depending on their level of perception. So what should we make of such 'warrior-associated' sayings like, 'it is a good day to die'? Which might be an acknowledgement of the inevitability or certainty of all living beings dying.  And could then lead on to people having come to terms - not that it matters much when destiny beckons - with the certainty of their dying, and wanting to determine or influence the timing of their/our death Of course, probably even more helpful than being able to choose the day of ones dying and death, would be that of choosing the means of ones demise.  Something which is only open to most people by way of them choosing to commit what has come to be known as 'suicide.' An act of ultimate self-determina

JUST ANOTHER SAD THOUGHT - ON PRESIDENT NICOLAS MADURO'S DESTRUCTION OF VENEZUELA! THE END..?

Image
Does President Nicolas Maduro has completely no sense of responsibility and accountability for his and his government's failure and betrayal of the Chavistas revolution and the country?  Something which, he were still alive, Hugo Chavez would have to take a lot of responsibility for.  In having made the greatest mistake of his life, by choosing the imbecilic Nicolas Maduro as his successor.  By making Nicolas Maduro, and the consequences of his ineptitude, the legacy which he has bestowed on the people of Venezuela. And for which Maduro, lacking in both prudence and humility, but having a super abundance of pomposity and malignant vanity, accepts.  Thereby enabling the catastrophe which has beset Venezuelans and their country, to continue to engulf them. And so it behoves the regime stalwarts who are backing and supporting Nicola Maduro, to stop supporting him.  To advise him to stand aside and allow a competent leader to step forward, and lead the nation back

JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE DISINGENUITY AND/OR DELUSIONAL STATE OF THE BREXITEERS. THE END..!

Image
In seeking her divorce from the EU, a divorce which she has initiated.  The British government and the Brexit activists and advocated are, it seems, never tired of repeating how much the still want to remain the  EU's best friend.   And for the EU to continue to be  Britain's best friend . A status which can only be achieved by Britain remaining a member of the EU.  Since, if it was possible for such a state to be achieved outside of the EU, then, would it not poses the question of; what would be the purpose of it, the European Union? If it appears that the Brexiteers want, as it were, 'to have their cake and be able to eat it', and to be able do so without having to suffer the indignity of choking on 'Brexitopia', then, it is probably because it is so.  Thus the appeal for the EU to 'be reasonable', to 'be fair', to 'not be vindictive towards a Britain' which is only endeavouring to give effect to the 'democratic wi

These difficulties in school was despite the fact that Kazaliwa did not have any delays in reaching his development milestone. He was climbing stairs, walking and riding his bike at what were then very early ages. As well as being a good reader.  And yet, by the time he was five years old, Kazaliwa was having very bad days at school. In his diary, dated 24th November 1994,  Mfanyazaki wrothe that “Kazaliwa had a terrible day at school. So much so that it was “very, very, sad” and he could’nt tell me about it, only his mother.”  He said that Mrs Lelkin “told him off” and that “she was very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very upset with him.” The following day the school was telling Mfanyazaki, again, that his son was having a difficult time in school.  That he had no friends, because he plays very hard, which was a factor in his isolation.   And that he was hitting like a 10 or 12 year old, instead of as a 5 year old. The school cited the

JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE DISINGENUITY AND/OR DELUSIONAL STATE OF THE BREXITEERS. PART 1.

So, if it seems that I am somewhat besotted or even obsess with the struggle of the Brexiteers, to achieve their 'Brexitopian' dream.   It is probably because I am convinced that the achievement of a more peaceful and economically equitable world, does not lie in the greater dissolution of regional organizations.  But in the strengthening of the best of those which exists already, and in the creation of new ones, where none exists. Which is why it is so baffling when Brexiteers, including the British politicians, some of them reluctantly so.   Who are tasked with achieving the best Brexit package they can extract from the other 27 member countries of the European Union.   Persistently make statements and pronouncements about how, in effect, they still want Britain to be, as it were, ' the best friend of the European Union.'  How they want to work closely with the European Union, as if they can work more closely with it, by leaving it, as oppo

JUST ANOTHER SAD THOUGHT - ON PRESIDENT NICOLAS MADURO'S DESTRUCTION OF VENEZUELA! PART 1.

'The passage of time from ' tyranny to liberation to despotism' is no longer or shorter than the time it takes to transform 'a liberator' into a fallen 'despot.''  There can probably no greater obstacle to a country's and nation's advancement, no more damaging event, than for it and them to have fallen into the delusional world of the 'leader.'  Who is blinded, muted and made imperceptible to reason, by his delusion that what he is doing and not doing, is in the interest of his party and people.  The leader who tries to blindfold the nation with the tapestry of the now incongruous, shallow rhetoric and vacuous slogans of the ruling political party.  A leader who is trying to make the people see a reality different from the one which the ruling elite, in this case, Maduro's party and government.   Have created, but which they want to attribute to the actions of ' the enemies of the revolution .'  Yes, of course t

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON WHETHER THE VIKTOR ORBAN'S HUNGARY IS BECOMING THE NEW REFUGE OF ODIOUS NATIONALISM? PART 1.

Image
While Hungary's Government, under the vile, but clearly well supported tutelage of its extremist nationalistic Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, sets itself up as the 'leader' of Europe's Christian Crusade against Europe becoming 'Islamisised.'  It is very ironic that the President, even though he is citing Christendom and 'western civilisation' as the standard of his crusade.   Is also displaying a noticeable lack of the tolerance, humility and hospitality, which has become foremost amongst the enlightened version of both Christianity and 'western civilisation.'  And so we must take it, that the kind of 'nationalism', the kind of 'Christianity and western civilisation' of which Prime Minister Orban is making much ado.   Is that which belongs to the Middle Ages. The age of the barbarians, if you like.  A kind of Hungarian puritanism, a form of European, white racism, of the kind which would not go amiss within the
