JUST A THOUGHT - ON WHETHER HUMANS OR THE GODS ARE THE GREATEST. THE END...

But not of them will or have ever been able to provide any proof of 'God' actively playing any observable part in their achievement. Absolutely none can do so.  And the reason for this is quite simple; their is not sentient 'God', and probably definitely none as great as us humans. Indeed, it would be better for humans, were we so inclined, to acknowledge 'the evolutionary forces of nature', the evolutionary process which has resulted in our existence.  As 'God' and as 'the Greatest.' But, as powerful as the forces or process of evolution are, they are not sentient.  They are not bestowed or blessed with 'ergosumness', with conscious thought which can lead them to draw a distinction between them as a separate entity from other entities. And so it is that, us humans, can justifiably declare that, we are, indeed, the 'Greatest' of probably all sentient forces in the Universes.  And we should not feel afra

It is one which they hope will manifest itself as being their 'dol'; their day of liberation from Europe.  When they will become 'the masters of their own fate', whatever that fate may be. But not so for those who Britons who believe that the fate of Europe, of the world, is much more likely to be a better one, if people and nations form and maintain alliance and work together for the common good.  For the prosperity of all, and not just the more fortunate and stronger ones.  For these Britons, to a large extent, the 31st October 2019 could or will be the confirmation of 'their death sentence.'  The death of their aspirations, hopes and dreams for a better Britain and a better and more inclusive world.  While Britain's Brexithood might yet result in being a suicidal folly for the Brexiteers. For those Britons who oppose it, its failure will not be a suicidal folly for them.  It will be an act of homicide by the Brexiteers who ha

Much the same way as any person has to accept their common destiny; their/our death. Because, for those who continue to live in the United Kingdom, all must accept or acquiesce to the common fate which will be inflicted upon the UK, once the deed has been done.  Once Britain has, as Boris Johnson has stated, acquired Brixithood on 31st October 2019.  They will all become subjected to actual benefits and losses of regional session.  A reality which, as we have seen from the fate of South Sudan, from the Spanish region of Catalonia, from the United States of America, and from Iraqi Kurdistan.   Has not been shown to be a positive adventure. The doctrine of 'meism', of 'we are stronger and better off on our own', has not fulfilled its promise, and is unlikely to do so. Of course, for the Brexiteers, the 31st October 2019 will be a day which they are looking forward to with, as it were, 'great expectations.'  To be continued!

FRENCH GRAND PRIX - TEAM MERCEDES STILL REIGNING SUPREME, BUT.....! THE END.

And work together to resolve and/or improve them, and bring Formula 1 and the FIA back to a better state of health, of good functioning. It needs to be about how to disperse or distribute what money there currently is in Formula 1, more fairly. It also needs to be about how to make more money.  And that means making the cars and teams more competative and making the circuits and races more exciting and thrilling.  These are amongst the challenges confronting all elements within the Formula 1 industry. The teams, drivers, the FIA and the owners of Formula 1. But while this matter is being attended to, let us look forward to what should, all things being equal, a more exciting Austrian Grand Prix, than the mundane affair which was the French one.

So, fine; the Formula 1 brand needs to be improved, but how should that be achieved?  Is it by the drivers, teams and fans and the general public decrying, publicly, how bad it is and how urgently it needs to be improved?  Is it about moving away from it and yelling ones condemnation of it; making it a 'them and us' issue?  Them being 'the bad guys' and 'us being the good guys', irrespective of who is making money from this reputedly bad organisation, and those who are not doing so?  After all, Formula 1, like other organisations and business, are a reflection of society. It has its 'haves and its havesnot'?  Its 'haves' include Team Mercedes, Team Ferrari and Team Red Bull. Most of the teams, as far as winning Grand Prix and championships are 'havesnot.' And what does this say? Well, it says 'we, the FIA, the successful and unsuccessful teams and drivers, are all in it together.'  All should th

Yes, it is true that the French Grand Prix on Sunday, except for the frantic but incident free start off the Grid, was probably not as exciting and gripping as the Practice and Qualifying sessions.  Granted that it was somewhat of a mundane affair, it still resulted in yet another 1-2 for Team Mercedes and their ace drivers, the now inimitable Lewis Hamilton and the 'renewed Valtteri Bottas. So, in as much as, for all the teams and their drivers, Formula 1 racing is mostly about winning races and the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships.   The French Grand Prix has been a successful one for Team Mercedes. A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas, therefore, for making it P.1 and P. 2.  Also a Very Big Congratulation to Team Ferrari and Charles Leclerc for making it to P.3.  Rather unfortunately for Sebastian Vettel, he had not been able to recoup any of the loss of morale he suffered during the Canadian Grand Pri

The same applies the leaders of all theistic religions and world leaders who believe in God.  Whether they be Christians, Muslims, Jews, et al. It is to us humans with the relevant skills and expertise that they and us all look to, when we are victims of serious illnesses.  The believers might pray and ask their 'God' to make them better, they they know or should know only too well, that 'God' does not intervene to help humans. Irrespective of fairy tales about miracles. So, when we look at the great works of art, the esteemed cathedrals, churches, Temples, Mosques and other venerated places of all religions.  All of which our ancestors and/or this or that clergy has imbued with the so-called spirit of human beatified 'saint', none of them have been the 'works' of any human ascribed 'God.'  They have all be the works of the imagination and skills of humans. The 'Gods' have played absolutely no role in any of these

Will be partly determined by the circumstances of that 'death', be it literal or figurative. But probably what is most important, as I see and think of it, is this.  That probably the only time when we should give up the instinctive fight for staying alive, to live, is when there is an absolutely that we can no longer prolong our lives. Our living on a viable basis. And now, the end is near, it seem, for those Britons and others in the world who whose earnest wish, desire, is for the United Kingdom and the people of Britain to remain an integral member of the European Union.  And to continue to play a leading role in helping Europe and the World to stave of the apparent impending implosion with threatens not only Europe, but much of the rest of the world. With the British people awaiting to see which of the two Brexiteer candidates, Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson, will be chosen to be the next British Prime Minister to be given the chalice filled w

So, how does a person feels or might feel as he/she contemplates the stipulated hour of their death?  What might their thoughts be, as they look forward, probably with either acute or blurred clarity, to a time when they/we will no longer exist?  When our breathing will, shall cease, as our hearts is deprived of the oxygen and the momentum to continue to pump blood through our arteries and veins to keep other vital organs and their microscopic worlds alive?  Do they, do we become resigned to our approaching destiny, knowing that there is nothing more we can do to avoid or prevent going over the cliff?  How best should a condemned person prepare and confront their deaths?  Should they/we resist it, physically, if we can, and verbally? And, if we do so, might the process of our execution be prolonged and becomes more traumatic, more gruesome than it otherwise might have been?  Or, should we try to blank out what is about to befall us, and hope, even cooper

But is the 'God' of which the believers speak so grandly, really 'the greatest', let us say, in comparison with us mortal human beings?  How many of us, for instance, having been placed in the dire situation of being, say, critically ill or chronically ill.   And having the choice of choosing between the intervention of 'God', yes, let us say, 'our God', and a medical practitioner.  Yes, even one who might also believe in 'God'.  Would choose to lie where we find ourselves, and ignore the intervention of the medical practitioner and wait for that of our 'God?'  How many of us would do so, in the hope of proving that 'God is great or is the greatest?' The Popes of Rome do not do so; they do not place their fate in 'the hand of God.  At least, not as a first option. Their first port of call is to seek the medical intervention of their prestigious medical practitioners.  It is 'their trust that they put in
