Big Congratulations to Team Mercedes and their drivers, Hamilton and Bottas, for having taken P1 and P 2 in Qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, at the beginning of the 2019 Formula 1 Grand Prix season. With this being the first Qualifying event in the season, it is clearly too early and would be unwise to make any predictions about who will win the Australian Grand Prix.  What can clearly be said, is that, despite the somewhat disappointing performance of Team Mercedes during the preseason tests.  The consistent top performance of the Team, relative to the others, including Team Ferrari and Red Bull, amongst others, would suggest that it does have the edge in bringing home P.1 and 2, in tomorrow's race.  But probably only just, and subject to no significant misadventure during the race.  And providing Hamilton and Bottas race without any unforced errors and deliver consistently faultless performances, while they race on the edge.  A kind of '

I am greatly shocked by the mass killing of dozens of New Zealanders, the maiming of dozens more, and the psychological traumatisation of the families and millions of New Zealanders.  Which has been perpetrated by a a 28 demon who has, for many years, hidden himself amongst us humans, who abide by values of compassion and empathy for our fellow humans. There has been so much mass killings taking place all over the world, that it would not be surprising if many of us were to become somewhat blase, numbed, and become of the view that the world is full of mad men.  Yes, mad men, psychotic men, because it is almost invariably the men amongst us who are initiating this terrible killing and maiming of the innocents. Did any deception occurred in what had been alleged, affirmed to have happened between Mary Magdalene and Jehovah God? Was Joseph aware of what was to have taken place between his wife and Jehovah God, and was he given any choice about what he could do about it? The answers to both questions seem be, no; Joseph was not given any choice by God. He was confronted with a fait acompli.  He pretty much had to do what God asked of him or was reported to have asked of him. Of course, we do not know the full details of what took place.  As the story of the birth of Christ, reading the account given in Matthew, Chapter 1 of the Bible, does not suggest that Joseph was the narrator; the person telling the story. In summary, according to, The Gospel According to Matthew, 1, 18:25, the circumstances surrounding Christ's birth was 'foretold' or 'prophesied ' sometime before the actual birth.  It is not clear if it is Matthew who is the narrator of the event

I mean, let us be logical; humans are born with potential learn and easily taken on mindsets and behaviours within the societies in which we are born and socialised.  But we are not born with emotions

'Do we not then have to 'build bridges' to remove and/or reduce the differences between us; the things which are and represent obstacles, barriers to us becoming one people?  To be able to share the same space and time as one people, with our first and shared loyalty being to what has become our nation?  For example there is the recent and, to some extent, still bloody conflict between 'Islamic Caliphate' and its associate axis, such as Al Queda, Afghan Taliban, Nigeria's Boko Haram.   And other Islamist groups and armies in many parts of ethnically mixed countries of the world.  A reality which, if we are being reasonable, logical and pragmatic, is understandably going to increase the incidence of fear and hatred towards Islam and Muslims. In other words, an increase in Islamophobia. So, getting back to the issue of, 'am I Islamophobic or an Islamophobe', is is really a matter of context and degrees.  Let us widen this out abit. I

This is a short video of the progress, seemingly quite negligible, of a pair of Magpies building their next for their planned 2019 brood.  Although they have been working diligently and consistently, it appears that they are not making the progress which a human would have expected.  This might be an indication of the care and craftbirdship that they are putting into their project, in ensuring their young's protection from opportunistic predators.

For example, when people speak about migration from Africa, they/we might place the emphasis on "African migration."  Whereas the debate about migration of people from the Middle East and Asia, tends to place the emphasis on the migrants religious faiths.
