TURKEY'S 'ISRAELESQUE' ANNEXATION PLANS FOR SYRIAN TERRITORY.. PART 5.

But they will have to make a decision on whether to continue to support or turn the proverbial 'blind eye' to Turkey's unjustified attempt to restrict the remit of the Syrian state over its own sovereign territory.  By flagrantly invading Syria and attacking state institutions with the same impunity displayed by Israel's military.  Or whether they be guided by the logic of Russia's sofar continuing assertion that Syria is a sovereign state.   And that all foreign forces that are there without the invited of the Syrian government, including the Turks, are aggressors who should remove themselves or be forced out of the from the country. With the support of the Syrian army and its Russian and Iranian allies. Turkey is pleading and citing moral and legitimate security concerns for its military action in Syria.  But the validity of its argument is diluted by its past and present and planned future machiavellian strategy from the beginning o

Which is why Turkey is being disingenuous and hypocritical in appearing to opposed their annexation plans for occupied Palestinian lands.  While itself, making and implementing probably even more ruthless and pernicious annexation and occupation plans for parts of Syrian territory. This is also why the Syrian state has to be prepared to pay the high price it might require for it to expel the Turkish invaders from Syrian soil.  After all, Turkey's current Syria strategy is still much the same as it has always been, even if it is now more openly expansionistic in Turkey's direct intervention.  It is still primarily about achieving 'Turkey's self-perceived interest', by using or attempting to use the war and the opportunity it creates, as manipulatively as required. I can see that Russia and Iran are in a very invidious position in trying to maintain their alliance with Turkey.   To be continued!

CONTEMPLATING ON THE ILLUSORY NATURE OF MAN'S QUEST FOR 'PARADISE' OR JANNAH PART 4.

Although we no longer need this artificial and imaginary 'God' anymore. And although our continued belief in and submission to him is having a detrimental impact on our continuing evolution and advancement as social beings.  We seem to be unable to rid  ourselves of our illogical addiction to and dependence on our imaginary 'God.'  This is quite similar to the 'eternal lifers' amongst us wanting to believe or taking it as a given that 'there is life after death.'  That this place, this thing called 'paradise', awaits us when we make our certain transition from being 'alive' to 'being dead.'  From being organic and animated to being inorganic and inanimate.  Yes, in the case of the 'paradisians', it really is the case that it is the discerning, the prudent and the wise person who says, there is no 'paradise' awaiting either the believer nor the unbeliever.  Who could, with accuracy, say, it

Which it hopes will push back Turkish and Syrian Kurds from its borders, and make them more secure.  Of course, the problem with this kind of 'security through increased expansionism and occupation, is this.  Once you push your own borders back into your neighbours' territory, and occupy and peopled those new territories.   You still end up having a border which you have to 'secure', which creates the rationale for further expansion into and occupation of more of your neighbours' territories. Which is why countries cannot and should not accept being subjected to and victimised by the application of this spurious strategy of 'defence through offence'. This 'doctrine of territorial security by means of territorial expansionism and occupation.'   Countries which submit, willingly or unwilling to this doctrine, risk losing much of their territory.  This applies to what the Israeli and American governments are planning for th

A pseudo-theocratic' manifestation of their attempts to communicate with and form relationship with their imaginary 'God.' When a people 'appropriates the religion and/or god/s of another people, they are taking on that people's worldview with all of its already existing internal contradictions, to which the 'appropriators' add their own.  That makes for a very volatile or unstable situation, which is what we have in the 'wars of the religions', whether they are the Abrahamic, one god variety, or the others with their multi-gods. And herein lies the seed of our religious conflicts and wars. It has become as much a 'cultural' as a 'religious' conflict between different people.  A conflict in which real lives and real people are destroyed in the interest of an imaginary 'God' who, if he really exists in a tangible form.   Could not, and, most probably, would not have logically wanted anything to do with

It is, as well as providing genuine assistance and support to these refugees, using their plight to carve out new realities on the ground, in an attempt to further its version of 'the New Ottoman Empire.'  Turkey is into empire building, and is manipulating the unfortunate people of Syria into doing her bidding.  She is endeavouring to create complex and interwoven realities with Syrian nationals and others.  Which, she hopes, will make it very difficult and painful, if not impossible for them to do without the Turks as their handlers, benefactors, exploiters.  It is like, well, we will give you food and water, we will even build houses for you and your children. But you owe us, you have to repay us with your unquestionable loyalty. Your soul now belongs to us. Turkey's unjust and expansionist plans for Idlib, which is Syrian territory, is, like other countries such as Britain and Israel have done before, to take it over, occupy it and transform i

'The doctrine of security by territorial expansionism and occupation is a pernicious and unjust doctrine.  Its application by the state of Israel, like others before it, towards the occupied Palestinian lands, is no more repugnant to the cause of justice, than it is to the state of Turkey applying it to the Syrian territory of Idlib.' Turkey's government is fond of declaring its opposition to Israeli and American governments plans to annex occupied Palestinian lands.   As its seeks to give the impression that the Turks are the champions of Palestinians struggle to have their right to sovereign and independent nationhood realised. This, at least, is what Turkey's government under President Erdogan would like the Palestinians and their genuine supporters and advocates to believe.  And yet, as is the way with these things, these apparent acts of  benevolence, all is not as it might appear.  Turkey, notwithstanding the high cost it is paying i

And how the Abrahamic religions could deceptively cite such manifestations and reliance on 'physical objects.'   As somehow attesting to the supposedly 'lesser intellect and humanity' of the people who relied up and/or wanted to rely on them. But, it would seem, as the intellect of humans continue to develop.  This level of human self-debasement' could not remain tenable, as more questions were being asked about these false representation and representatives of 'god.'  If you can see your 'god', then you can put him under the microscope and examine and interrogate him. Secretly or publicly, since he will only occupy your mind if you allow him to do so.  And he will only communicate with you, through the self-deception of others who imagine themselves to be speaking on his behalf, when you go public. He becomes more vulnerable and the case for keeping him and, even  more, continue to worship him, becomes weaker. To be c

WALK WITH ME - ON MY CANAL WALKS. 8.

But so much for the weather; this particular walk was to prove itself to be probably one of the most people engaging I have had the pleasure of making. Yes, the pleasure I derived from this walk, quite apart from that I derived from the fauna and flora, was in the warmth and comradeliness of the people  I met on my journey.  First there was the man of a certain age walking his dog. "Good morning", he said to me, as I approached him.  A good start, I thought, as too often, it seems to me, that it is I who tended to make the first unambiguous gesture of greeting others I met during my walks along this canal.  "Good morning", I responded, and followed it up with a "..not too bad a day, is it?!"  He nodded and voiced his agreement, as he coyly used his kerchief to dab his runny nose, as his, as well as my warm internal body confronts the cold external environment, and give rise to signs of condensation occurring.  To be conti
