    Self-confidence in their ability to transform themselves and the world, are necessary qualities or attributes of young people.   Nearly in the same way as the certainty of their/our approaching demise is an inescapable awareness and even preoccupation of anyone of the age of, say 70 years old. Of course, people who have attained the age of 70 years old, will themselves have traversed all the prior milestone ages, including that of having once been an adolescent and a young person.  As such, with a bit or a lot of reflective consideration, those of us who are no longer defined as 'young people.'  Should be able to recall and even identify with the sense of hope and aspiration which young tend to have.  For wanting to transform the world into 'a better place for you and for me', as it were.
