  It is not difficult to understand and appreciate why, in the olden days, or the days of old.   Our ancestors should have seen it fit to invent or create Gods.  In the belief that their created gods would protect them from the frightening things and phenomena which threatened them.  Things such as wild animals against which they were ill-equipped to fight.  Natural phenomena such as earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, forest fires, diseases and starvation.  And, of course, probably the most destructive scourge of our human evolution and history, wars.   Humans mercilessly killing, maiming, capturing and enslaving, and driving away fellow humans from their normal habitat and abode. And so it was that our ancestors began to look for someone or something.  Who or which they believed were more powerful than anything else in their environment and universe.  Including themselves and other humans who were or were perceived as threats to them.  Something or someone with whom they could form a pro

  And even as I write this, it has been reported that President Biden has made it first military incursion into Sovereign Syria, and killed his first humans, as POTUS. So, nothing new there; like the ancients of old, he has bloodied his Presidential Spear. Like so many other Presidents before him. The extent to which he will have converted talk into action and the enduring amelioration of the social, racial, economic and political conditions of Americans of colour.  Is something which we will have to wait to see. Probably not until before 2024-2028.  As the woman, the man says, talk comes cheaply, and many of America's presidents, from Lincoln to Roosevelt, to Lyndon Baines Johnson, to Barak Obama.  They and others have all spoken, some more eloquently than other, of wanting, of how they intended to transform the American political, economic, social, and racial landscape.  But still, after decades, after hundreds of years, it is still lacking in over-arching transformation.  Indeed

  That we could argue that he, Biden, and his administration, will need to put in as much work to  turn America round, as Trump has put in, trampling on it. It has been said that Joe Biden's presidency is or should or could be seen as an extension of Barak Obama's presidency.  Though President Biden, being his own man, own president, might refute this.   It would not be surprising if one were to see much commonalities between the two presidencies.  After all, Joe Biden was Barak's vice President for 8 years.   So it should be expected that, with them being from the same political party, there should be quite a bit, if not a lot of policy confluence between them.   Including being freed from 'Jail', where he has spent over 4 years becoming institutionalised into accepting a routine which requires submissiveness and obedience from him.  And having his Mum and/or Dad, two people whom he has been having a love/hate, ostracising/supportive relationship with for probably most of his life.  Resuming what he would have seen as an authoritarian parental role over him.  After all, was he not now a man, an adult who should be free to make his own decision and behave how he saw fit, providing he did not breached the conditions of his freedom?  Yes, he, Kazaliwa, might, indeed, certainly not have been able to pay his own way.  At least not until he acquired waged employment, as he was insistent on not applying for the social security benefit he was entitled to.  But would not apply for because he would not debase himself to that level.  Even if such reluctance, such refusal, might have seemed to be somewhat at odds with his then past lifestyle whic

So might the current President, Joe Biden, set about uprooting and casting aside.  The things that he and others, would consider to be the harm Trump his coterie, especially Mike Pompeo and Kushner.   Had done to America's international reputation and prestige in the world. But so much for Donald Trump and his band of despicable men and women.  His presidential days were always numbered, even though they were not, as many of us had hoped, ended before the prescribed 4 years were done. It is now the time of President Joe Biden, the man who, opted out of becoming the Democrat's presidential candidate in 2016, in deference to Hillary Clinton.  The Presidential candidate who was ignominiously defeated by Trump. We are in less than two months of Joe Biden's presidency, but what are we to make of it?  Trump wanted to 'Magatise' America, and, many would argue, done so much harm to the country, its people and its international reputation.  To be continued!
