Thus religious life continues as if there is not insurmountable and valid evidence that it is based on fiction, on myth, instead of fact and history. Conscientious and intelligent men and women of the cloth, still continue to perform religious rites and rituals and make pronouncements about 'God', as if he really exists and has any objective relevance to us humans. Beyond that which religion has deceptively attributed to him by our ancestors, and reinforced by the present clergies. The motivation, now that the evidence is there for those who are courageous enough to examine it, and then go on to making the necessary changes it warrants, can only be that of continuing to deceive the masses. It has to be at least in part, probably primarily so, about being loyal and faithful to the errant and, in some cases, deliberately conspiratorial apostles, priests, disciples, et al by refusing to acknowledge 'the truth' about the 'holy gospels.'
