BIRTH OF CHRIST AND THE TRIAL OF JEHOVAH, CHRISTIANITY'S GOD. PART 12.

By rather a utilitarianistic one; one based on a 'master/servant', 'maker-owner/owned' relationship' between 'God and his creations.'  And those of us who have been fortunate enough to have knowledge of different versions of how Man has used 'God.'  As a basis to establish and maintain the injurious oppression of his fellow humans.  Cannot logically fail to appreciate the weakness of the, what I would call the 'assumptive' or 'ventriloquization' of the relationship between 'God' and humans. Which exists even today. Similarly, in the context of contemporary morality and human rights considerations.   The 'exceptionalism of God' argument could not, cannot avoid the allegation that God, having taken advantage of his 'Godly power.'  God would have exploited and abused Mary, by causing her to submit to his will or intention to impregnate her.  That she, Mary, not having been a more independe

THE FALL OF SUDAN'S GOVERNMENT AND THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE POPULIST PROTESTERS. 2

And to what end have they done what they have done? What have they achieved and what will they have achieved at the end of this process? After all, President Al Bashir and his government might have been 'unpopular', but show me a government which is 'popular' with all or even most of the people?  Yes, it is the case that it is often said that, those who have made the effort and taken the risk to go out on the streets to protest.   Both peacefully and violently, is oftentimes only the 'tip of the proverbial ice-berg.'  But, was this really the case in Sudan, as it most probably was not the case in Egypt?  After all, what did the Egyptian people benefited from their revolution?  If not the tightening of the yoke around their necks by several notches, and the loss of much of the little that they had before 'the revolution'? And why should it be any different in regards to the people of Sudan?  Now that the 'highly ques

The government of Sudan has now fallen, with the country's military having assumed power.   As requested by all or many of the tens of thousands of Sudanese who went on the streets of the country, and outside its military headquarters, inciting their armed forces to do just that.  Mutiny and take their, the protesters side and depose the government of President Omar Al Bashir.  I mean, imagine that; the protesters inciting the military to overthrow the government, and commit an act of treason?  And what happen when, if they were to do so, and install a new government.  At some point in the future, probably not even distant future, other populist protesters were to come along and incite the military to 'do it again'? So, once again, the populists have taken to the streets and brought down another 'unpopular government.' But in whose name have they done what they have done?  Is it in the name of all the people of Sudan? Is it in the n

JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE DESTRUCTIVE NATURE OF RELIGION. THE END...

Why this fear of saying, the God of who the believers speak, does not and has never existed?  Why this continuing sacrifice of humans and our happiness to fictitious sentient gods, which have been created by our ancestors?  In the belief that they would protect them from the anger of the elements and attacks from their human enemies, and cause them to prosper?  In the imagined next life, if not their temporal one, which is the only life we have any evidence of? This, I see, as the curse of humans and humanity.  That we seek to deny and devalue the life we have and could have had.   Had so many of us not failed to put away the childish ideas and stories of the childhood of human enlightenment.  And have become and continue to become addicted to the deceptive creation of false gods.  Who are without form and substance, other than that which the blood and suffering of us humans embodies. The hope of and for a better humanity does no

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON FINDING GOD. PART 1.

It is probably one of the a number of all things which all sentient humans will have considered at some points in their journey of life. The perennial questions of: 'Is there a God'?   A living God, as it were. And, if there is a God, what does this 'God looks like? And here, the common convention, the received 'wisdom', is that 'God' looks like us humans.  More contemporaneously, however, humans who are not bounded by convention, by 'received wisdom.'  Have raised the possibility, the probability even, that, it is not 'God', who has made humans in 'his own image, but that it is us humans who have 'made God' in our own image.  A theory which I would consider to be more plausible than the converse.  Except probably the fact that that seems to run counter to what we see of the 'Abrahamic religions', Christianity, Judaism and Islam.  Which, unlike at least some of the many other religions, have te
