Why this fear of saying, the God of who the believers speak, does not and has never existed? 

Why this continuing sacrifice of humans and our happiness to fictitious sentient gods, which have been created by our ancestors? 

In the belief that they would protect them from the anger of the elements and attacks from their human enemies, and cause them to prosper? 

In the imagined next life, if not their temporal one, which is the only life we have any evidence of?


This, I see, as the curse of humans and humanity.  That we seek to deny and devalue the life we have and could have had.  

Had so many of us not failed to put away the childish ideas and stories of the childhood of human enlightenment. 

And have become and continue to become addicted to the deceptive creation of false gods. 

Who are without form and substance, other than that which the blood and suffering of us humans embodies.


The hope of and for a better humanity does not lie in more religious observance and appeal to humans or to the a non-existent god, who has been placed at the heart of the conflict. 

 It lies in less focus on God, and more on the condition of the human species. And this is not surprising or unachievable, since it is us who have created God in our form, and not vise versa. 

 God, except he be, as he probably should be considered, the process of Evolution. And does not otherwise exist outside of the human experience and consciousness.
