However unlikely it might be to really happen, that my dear mother could become ill and I would not be able to visit her. That she could die, and I might not be able to see her.  That she could be buried, and I and other members of the family and her friends, not be able to attend her funeral. All because we are now living in covid-19, a coronaviral world. All of which is rather frightening, probably so frightening that it seems unreal and is something which my psyche is not fully taking in. But, in the midst of this seeming madness, my dear mother continues to get on with her life, making her own adjustments and adopting to others which has been made on her behalf.  Such as now having to come to terms with not seeing me and other members of the family who used to visit her regularly.  Such as having to depend on her professional carers to provide her with care and practical support 7 days a week.  And me, with having to reduced her shopping to fortnight
