IT WAS WRITTEN IN THE STARS - AN ACCOUNT OF LIVES IMPACTED BY 'EVERYDAY ADVERSITIES.' PART 39.

'What we recall of our experiences of the past, tends to be a factor of how they impacted on our senses at the time, the strength of our continuing attachment to those experiences.

And the extent to which we have succeeded in assimilating them into our subsequent experiences and move on with our lives.'

Mzaliwa, at times when he would allow his mind to look back.

Might been forgiven for contemplating. For contemplating on what might have happened, if their son, Kazaliwa, had been given a 3 instead of a 13 years sentence?

Would that have made him lucky and motivated, equipped him with the knowledge, skills and maturity to turn his life around?

Would it have been enough time to provide him with the range of experiences he needed to learn from, so as to transform the passion, the burning desire he had for his so far criminal mindset.

Into embracing a healthy and positive way of life?

Or would he simply came out of the door after probably serving 2 years of his sentence. And return to picking up where he left off, but with a greater passion and conviction for his then errant and destructive path?

And what would have become of his parents and family; would their hell have continued with even more intensity?

The answer to that is probably also to be found in the stars.

To be continued!
