Mothers and fathers; what would we do without them? Obviously not much, if anything at all. Since, without the dear souls, the we would not exist, including our dear mothers and fathers.  Mothers and fathers have a special role in any and every society.  A fact which at least one religious scriptures, the Christian Bible, instruct its adherents to 'honour thy father and thy mother', so that their days may be long upon the Earth.  Of course, it is not the case that every son and daughter who honour their father and their mother. Is going have extended days upon the Earth, as we can deduce from the fact that people do die young and very young.  But, in terms of the special status of mothers and fathers, the injunction is clear. The people of Brazil are no different from millions of other people all over the world.  Except probably in that they seem to be more conservative and partial towards supporting fascistic leaders and philanders than other people. 

If the Saudi Arabian government believed that the gruesome murder and dismemberment of Jamal Khoshoggi.  The man and journalist who they considered to be 'an enemy of the state', would shut him up and reduce the criticism of their #policies of oppressing their own and other peoples.  But how wrong, how terribly wrong they were. Because, all they have done is to shoot themselves in their head, in their attempt to get rid of 'their headache.'  Their atrocious and barbaric action has only made their predicament a thousand times worse.  It has not only reinforced the scorn and resentment of their enemies, real and contrived, but it has also made enemies of their friends.  They have brought shame, scorn and curse on themselves and Saudi Arabia. And this is the fate which awaits the people of Brazil.
