I t can allow us to get on with our lives and the other person/s to do the same.  Sadness will occur sometimes, when we think of how differently things might have been.   But the fact is that it is as it is, and sometimes it really is best that we accept it and live the lives we are living.  To the best of our ability, and not be deflected by self-pity, guilt and/or hatred and spitefulness. If we cannot make a thing, a situation better, or improve on it, then, only spitefulness, hatred and the lack of compassion that would lead us to act in a manner which inflames it. Death is an acute time of reflection, as we look back on the times we have interacted, be it mentally or physically, or both.   With the soul who is now no longer with us, except in our contemplation, our thoughts, and our shared discourse about the person who has now died.  As we contemplate the void in our ergo-sumness. Their absence from our line of vision, except that of our mind's eye.  Except in cases where we do not have recordings or videos of them, we are now in a situation where, they, the departed, can only speak and have impact through us.   Our memories of what they were about and what we know, think or believe they would have wanted. This, then, is the reality of the relationship between the living and the departed, those who have died or passed on from the world of the living, as we, the still living, know it to be.

So, who would not wish the Duchess of Sussex, the former Meghan Markle, and her husband, the Duke of Sussex, formerly Prince Harry, a happy marriage and life? Who would wish this young couple ill?  Which enemy do they have, who would wish to undermine them, their marriage, their personal life and their place within the British Monarchy?  Who would want to make their lives a misery, and to remind them of this ill-intent, through the too often rantings of the loathsome populist press? Who would declare themselves the enemy of the Duchess and Duke of Sussex and the British Monarchy?  And resort to effectively 'trolling' them, aided and abetted by, it seems, The Mail Online and The Sun newspapers?  Who, indeed, would sink so so, that they should now appear to be spluttering out the fetid and toxic gases which can only emanate from the sewer?
