SPANISH GRAND PRIX QUALIFYING - HAMILTON 'THE POLEIST' MAKES IT HIS 0NE HUNDREDTH POLE!!!!!!! PART 1.

A Gigantic Congratulations to you, Lewis Hamilton, for having made it your 100th Pole position at the 2021 Spanish Grand Prix, and to Team Mercedes, for having established the partnership with you, without which it might not have happened. A Big Congratulations to Max Verstappen and Team Red Bull, and to Valtteri Bottas and Team Mercedes, for making it to P.2 and P.3, to complete the Podium line up. And so it was that, as we watched all these fast, faster and fastest Formula 1 racing cars intrepidly making their way around the Curcuit de Barcelon- Catalunya in Spain.   At no point prior to the penultimate lap in Q3, did Hamilton gave any clear indication that he intended, or would be able to make this the Qualifying session that he would have achieved his 100th Pole position. No, not with the Intrepid Verstappen having gone into Q.3 with a clear, a massive 7/10th of a second lead over Hamilton, who had trailed behind his team mate, Bottas.  What was going on, was the question on ever

A time when one becomes less mobile and ones perceptual world becomes more challenged and distorted.   A time when, if one is unfortunate, one might find oneself spending more time contemplating a death which seems reluctant to come and long in coming.  Instead of enjoying my remaining time amongst the land of the living. But none of these cogitations, these reminiscences, can take away the fact that my dear mother has been living a rather celebratory life over the past few months.  At least, since Christmas 2020. Over the past few months, atleast since the beginning of 2021, she has been having a life of what could be called quietude.  A life of acceptance, with her complaining, when it does occurs, being short-lives and almost occurring by accident or automatically triggered.  Without any rhyme and reason, as it were, but just pushing itself into our interaction without any apparent context. I am now able to visit mother dear mother and have an enjoyable few hours in her company.

PORTUGUESE GRAND PRIX - ANOTHER HAMILTONESQUE FINISH. AS LEWIS, MAX AND VALTTERI JOINED BATTLE. THE END..

I mean, it is true that over the years I have matured from my own cheekiness and fearlessness, into become the consummate racer of marked humility that I now am.  But, well, man, I have not said it, but it is damn hard for me not to slap you for snatching that Pole form me.  So, guess what man, although you are starting on Pole, I am going to snatch this one back from you.  I am committed to getting something out of this weekend, and, with you having taken Pole, Valtteri, that mean that I must finish the race on P.1. And so it was that, after what proved, at least to many or most of us, to have been a very exciting Grand Prix, with many exhilarating overtakes by many of the racers.   Lewis Hamilton put in the sterling performance he to win the Portuguese Grand Prix.  Having been overtaken by the Intrepid Max Verstappen after the departure of the Safety Car, Hamilton proceeded to overtake both Verstappen and team mate, Valtteri, and comfortably win the race. He persisted while there w

JUST A THOUGHT - ON HOW TO SURVIVE DEATH BY DATA PROTECTION POLICY. PART 1.

'At what point 'protecting you' becomes a strategy for ' protecting themselves '? So, there is this saying, 'it is not you', to which one might add, '..then it must be me!' are times when us humans can become so angry about something that we quite literally frighten ourselves. So angry that we literally loose it, lose our self-control, and would, had the other necessary factors come together, would, regrettably, find ourselves at the mercy of combustible situations. Yes, unimaginable as it might seem to us in our normal navigation of our daily lives, end up committing tragic acts which would later be considered to have been pointless. Irrespective of the rage, the at the time, self-perceived righteous indignation which we were feeling. These are the times when we might say or we should say, we thank our 'lucky star' that all the factors necessary to create the combustible event were not at play, not present. Such has been my recent experien

And so it was during Saturday's Qualifying session before the Portuguese Grand Prix on Sunday 2nd May 2021. That the Inimitable Lewis Hamilton, was colloquially 'robbed' of making it his 100th Pole positions of his so far unmatched Formula 1 career, by no other than his team mate, Valtteri Bottas. It was only by 7/000 of a second, we are told, but it was still enough, more than enough to delay Lewis' achieving this now yet to be achieved accolade. Yes, it was a disappointment for the great racer, and for all of us wish to share his joy in setting another remarkable record. But Lewis did not get into any tantrum about having his journey slowed, delayed, because he is now more than confident in his ability to get the job done, and have it done in good time. But, the great racer thought, quietly, and without making any declaration. Valtteri, he said to himself, I congratulate you on taking Pole, today, my man. You drove better than I did when it counted, and I made mista

In my epiphanous moments, I can understand and appreciate why her food has become such a cause celebre for my dear mother.  After all, with her having to spend all her days, 27/7 as it were, in her apartment, her food, her meals are probably the highest point of her day to day life.  It is something she should or would normally look forward. It is or should be one of the high points of her day. With her having so much time to anticipate and look forward to it.  Unfortunately, she kinds of look forward to it and don't. It has become too predictable for her; she tends to know what to expect and has come to expect little.  Her mind has become so focused on what she might argue, has been the reinforcement of dissatisfaction with her food.   That, even when she gets something different, she seems unable to see, eat and draw conclusions about it on its merits and demerits.  As opposed to projecting her despair and sense of dissatisfaction onto it. And then again, I have never lived to
