The present Eritrean Government seems to have invested in the  death of the country, instead of promoting a better life for the country's people. If  a political party chooses to call itself, The People's Front for Democracy and Justice, you, not having any or much knowledge of the ruling elite within that party, might still form the view that, with the mention of 'democracy' and 'justice', this part would be one worthy of being supported.  Justice and democracy, it appears, are virtues or commodities which are in very scarce supply in today's Eritrea, and is a situation which is unlikely to be changed which the present President and/or regime holds power. This is a soundless video of a Magpie, which was briefly joined by another, trying to intimidate a Crow which was simply trying to have a feed. Although the Magpie could have gotten on with feeding itself, it made it its priority to get rid of the Crow. As you will see, the Crow was having none of such unsociable behaviour.

Humans are probably more likely to get into conflict when the become preoccupied with religions and the gods. Keep it on our human level and peace can be achieved. People strive to attain significance in the world, for good or for evil, or both.  It seems to be part of our essential attributes, as human beings, that we should want to make a difference, to be taken note of and be noticed by others, as somebody of value of significance. Although the majority of us humans are, indeed, ordinary people and, probably, might never rise above the ordinariness which characterises us, we still have the aspirations and dreams to rise above that point. Consider the attraction which Europe and the United States have for hundreds of millions of poor people all over the world, which is probably the main reason why Europe and America are currently feeling somewhat under attack by migrants and immigrants wanting to move there to work and enjoy the good life? There are many enjoyable things which people can do on a lovely sunny Sunday, and one of the most popular, especially for garden enthusiasts, can be a visit to a garden centre.  And so it was that I and several members of my family  decided to visit this relatively small, but still varied garden centre on a recent Sunday. In short time we were at the garden centre, which, as you can see from the pictures, was well-presented and welcoming to the visitor. The Centre has a good, but not vast display of different plants, flowers, and food and gardening products on sale. It also has a nice cafe, which the thirsty and peckish visitor can resort to replenish their energy, which might have been depleted by both the intense heat of the Sun and the gentle and effortless exertion of walking around the Centre and its environs.
