AN ENJOYABLE VISIT TO THE GARDEN CENTRE!

There are many enjoyable things which people can do on a lovely sunny Sunday, and one of the most popular, especially for garden enthusiasts, can be a visit to a garden centre.  And so it was that I and several members of my family  decided to visit this relatively small, but still varied garden centre on a recent Sunday.

In short time we were at the garden centre, which, as you can see from the pictures, was well-presented and welcoming to the visitor. The Centre has a good, but not vast display of different plants, flowers, and food and gardening products on sale. It also has a nice cafe, which the thirsty and peckish visitor can resort to replenish their energy, which might have been depleted by both the intense heat of the Sun and the gentle and effortless exertion of walking around the Centre and its environs.

We saw and examined a range of plants and flowers, and garden water features, and a few pond displays. However, it being late July, we were not minded to buy new annual flowers this late in the year, as we felt we would not realise their full potential and splendour before they fall victims to the Fall and Winter seasons in the next few months.

We did, however, saw some garden water features which did evoked quite a bit of excitement, and one of which I have resolved to purchase in due course, to add some more tranquility and calm to our garden.

One of the most enjoyable aspect of our visit to this garden centre, was to experience and share with other visitors, the euphoric ambience which tends to envelope people when the Sun is shining and we are blessed with clear blue skies. When people's normally stern and unsmiling faces are more likely to break into a warm smile when you greet them, and when they might even initiate such greeting. A time when you do not get the feeling that each human is an isolated being enveloped in his/her bubble and who only interacts with the other bubbles when they have to do so.

So, yes, we have a lovely and enjoyable visit to the garden centre.
