Wow, who would have believed it, except Nico and, probably, his wife, that he had been contemplating leaving Formula 1 racing, and that, even if he had not won his first, and, probably last, Formula 1 World Championship, he might still have retired from it? And so it was that, on Friday 2nd November 2016, Nico Rosberg, the proud man who had, just five days earlier, won his first World Championship, was fated to announced to a shocked world, that he was giving up Formula 1 racing. According to Rosberg, he had set himself the challenge of climbing his mountain, and had now achieved his dream, his aspiration, having remained consistent in doing so for the past 25 years. And the world of Formula 1 racing and its fans are stunned; why, they are asking, does a man who demonstrably has so much potential, who has his fans and who has such a strong Formula 1 team as Mercedes, chosen to leave the field at such a time? It seems like many years since Tiger Woods has been playing competitive golf, or, indeed, golf of any kind, following his, what has been catastrophic problems. Tiger Woods has, effectively fallen from a great height; the pinnacle of his golfing career, his sponsorship deals, and, probably more importantly, in losing the intact family he had before the wheels fell off his life. Things has never, nor, indeed, could they have been the same after. Tiger's predicament has been compounded by persistent health problems, which have denied him the refuge and therapy he might have found in being able to continue to play and win golfing championships. Life for the Tiger, however much he, understandably, tried to take and project a dignified and positive approach, must have been immensely tough. As a Mercedes Formula 1 fan, and Lewis' and Nico's fan in particular, I am loathed to see either Nico or Lewis disrespect or behave towards each other in a manner which is unbecoming of what I believe to be honourable and lacking in humility. That does not mean that I do not enjoy when Lewis beats Rosberg, fairly, or appreciate Nico's mastery when he beats Lewis. But it does grieve me when I see either of these Formula 1 Champions behave in what I consider to be a dishonourable or pedantic and unnecessarily 'puffed up' manner towards each other. The saddest part it is that, although we can understand Lewis' great disappointment when his races, on a number of occasions, come unstuck, more often than not, not due to his error, such as occurred when his engine died on him when he was on his way to winning the race, there is never anything to gain by behaving offhandedly about these things.  The object of more peaceful contemplation. Life is, indeed, for living, which can and should include contemplating, even if it be of ones or others' death or state of non-existence. Once again, the government of Colombia and the leaders of the FARC movement have reviewed their agreement to bring durable peace to the people of Colombia, by ending the vicious and destructive war which they have fought for 50 years, and came up with a second or revised peace agreement. The Colombian Government of Manuel Santos has declared its commitment to have this agreement accepted by the people of Columbia and implemented. For the Colombian opposition, however, the cited dissatisfaction with the both the original and the revised peace agreement, is too good a party political opportunity to gain political advantage over the government, to miss.  Whereas for Manuel Santos and his government and FARC, the priority is to achieve what, all things considered, is best for Colombia and its people, all its people, for the leader of the mainstream opposition, Alvaro Ulribe, and the elitis

As for the impact of the American economic embargo on Cuba, which it the real cause of the economic crisis the country has been suffering, and is what is intended by the Americans, it is also a fact that millions of Americans are also suffering from acute and chronic poverty. While it is the case that, a nation cannot be built according to a particular model, if the builders are changed too fr
