Being the consistent, reliable and competitive racer Nico has been throughout the 2016 season, there was no or little doubt that he was going to place himself on the Podium. Not to expect him to do so would be a sign of living with the fairies or believing, truly, in the gods and miracles.

Lewis Hamilton has done it again, having taken Pole position at the Abu Dhabi Qualifying on Saturday, with his team mate, Nico Rosberg, on P2 and the vivacious Daniel Ricciardo taking P3 position. All of which goes to demonstrate that the Mercedes team, workers, drivers and cars, are continuing to work in union to deliver the desired results consistently.
