CHINESE GRAND PRIX QUALIFYING - SEB VETTEL STILL ON FIRE, WITH HAMILTON DELAYED!

Image
Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari for having delivered Pole position to themselves in the Chinese Grand Prix Qualifying! Congratulations also to Kimi, for coming in at P.2, and to Bottas, for remaining consistent in his placing himself at P.3. For Hamilton and Team Mercedes, the feeling of travelling through the desert and being beckoned and encouraged by the appearance of alluring oasis, only to have them ever receding into the distance, as they approach them.  Yes, so far, it has been a quite discouraging 2018 Formula 1 Season for Mercedes and their drivers, Hamilton and Bottas.  Yes, it is not things  are anywhere near the stage where their status and standing as the first amongst equals is irredeemable.  No, after all, this is only the third race of the Season. However, reputation counts for a lot in Formula 1 races.  A team and driver can sail, or drive to new heights, travelling on the crest of the latest win.  Whereas failure to win can

JUST A THOUGHT - ON BRITAIN'S, FRANCE'S AND THE UNITED STATES' PLANNED AGGRESSION AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF SYRIA. PART 2.

The decision to go to war has already been made by Macron, May and Trump. This they have declared to the world.  They have all stated that 'Their Red Line' has been crossed by the government of Syria, and that that government "must be punished."  President Macron, Trump and Prime Minister May have consulted and conspired.  And now, they have declared President Assad, as leader of the government of Syria, responsible for the reported and alleged chemical attack in Eastern Ghouta.  But with what legal authority? President Assad and the government of Syria did not have to present any defence, other than that which Syria and Russia's Ambassadors to the United Nations presented.  But the 'Conspirators' and their allies would not have been listening.  They would have been taking the position of 'we are not listening, because we have heard your defence before and we do not trust you.  After all, the American, British and French

JUST A THOUGHT - ON BRITAIN'S STREET VIOLENCE AND 'STOP AND SEARCH.' PART 4.

Unless this is done, the problem cannot be resolved. How can it be, if those who are responsible for it, are refusing or deflecting responsibility for it?  Who benefits from the police not being allowed to take appropriate and effective action to reduce the number of people, especially children and young people, carrying knives and guns?   With the intent of committing crimes, whether those crimes are intended as 'self-protective' or offensive?  It is probably not even a matter of 'benefiting', but, rather, who is able to hide behind making a holy grail of no  'stop and search?' Yes, only the knives and guns carriers. Members of the public, irrespective of their ethnic origins, do not trust the police.  But, in times of strife, they all or most of them, probably understandably, will still look to the police and the government 'to do something.'  But not 'stop and search', as you will be targeting the black community&

'So, by what legitimate means or mechanisms, do countries acquire the authority and 'right' to intervene in other countries to assert and exercise that 'authority' and 'right' which they assume or presume themselves to have?  Are they 'given' such 'authority' and 'right' by the people they declare themselves to be 'helping', be they the some of the nationals of the country they are intervening in, or their own nationals and governments?  And, if so, by what means do 'the people on whose behalf these countries declare they are acting, acquire the 'legitimacy' to call on the intervening countries to come and fight on their behalf?  Are there 'offences' for which one perceived offending country must be "punished" by other countries?  And, if so, what is the process, means and procedure for determining the nature and severity of that "punishment"?  Is it to be the ad h

Urban Crows Singing In Their Own Way!

Urban Crows do add an extra dimension to faunal life of Urban dwellers. However, as you can hear, they can be rather a very noisy and inconsiderate lot. Please take a look and a listen, and see what this video adds or takes away from your daily contemplative mode.

JUST A THOUGHT - ON BRITAIN'S STREET VIOLENCE AND 'STOP AND SEARCH.' PART 3.

At the same time, by not making that 'hunch-inspired approach', it is possible that an opportunity to prevent a violent crime or crimes at a later time or date, could have been missed. Of course, probably the biggest outcry and bugbear about the British police stopping and searching members of the public.   Is the argument that they are targeting - now 'profiling' - members of the country's black population, and that they are doing so unfairly and in a 'racist manner.'  And how do the supporters and advocates of 'stop and search' respond?  Well, while the opponents of the policy and practice cite the disproportionate number of black citizens who have been stopped and searched, some of them on more than one occasion.  And, also, probably the relatively small percentage of those 'stop and search' episodes which resulted in weapons being found and/or proceedings being taken against those stopped and searched. JUST A THOUGHT - SYRIA AND THE WEST'S CRIMINAL DECEIT IN DRUMMING UP A FALSE CASE FOR WAR! PART THE END...

By bringing them pyrrhic victories, which almost invariably leave them in a worse state than before.  By failing to differentiate between 'fighting for people', and 'fighting for 'democracy' and freedom.'  By being too eager to sacrifice the little which people has, for the West's unfulfilled and unfulfillable and irrational quest to 'democratise' the world, even at the expense of the humans who inhabit the targeted places. Yes, it is infinitely easier to destroy what has been already built, than to build something of value.  As we have seen from what the West has done in Libya, in Syria, and the destruction it has aided and abetted in Yemen.  The West, to a large measure, is currently being led by morons, and, for that reason, the world should take positive steps to extricate itself from being led by the West, as it is the equivalent of being led by morons. Yes, the West will most probably attack the Syrian government, because i

BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX - A RACE OF MIXED FORTUNES, WITH VETTEL REMAINING DOMINANT! THE END!

Image
For atleast the top 3 teams, even for the winning Ferrari and Vettel, or the torrid fiasco suffered by Red Bull, as I have already recounted.  And what of Team Mercedes and their intrepid duo, Hamilton and Bottas? Well, all credit to Team Mercedes and Hamilton, for having promoted themselves from a P9 start to Podium position P3.  Having extricated himself from physical entanglement with the equally intrepid and less cautious Max Verstappen, with the good fortune which was not to be had by Max, whose race was fated to end prematurely.  After him having has the most spectacular smash during the pre-race practice sessions.  And who is to know, certainly not Toto Wolff, if Hamilton might not have promoted himself higher on the Podium.  Had he and Team Mercedes been  more forceful and less tentative in challenging their tyres to go longer and faster than they had been expected to go.  As Vettel and Ferrari had done. That Bottas was able to get as close as he did to Vette

Is it just about the fact or perception  of a child, woman, or man, being killed, murdered.  By weaponised chemicals, seems to be 'more brutal', 'more terrible' than children, men and women being blown up by America's, France's and Britain's state of the art ammunition, cruise missiles and bombs?  Is it that it is more merciful for those victims to be killed by Western manufactured armaments? Or probably it is the West's perception that the lives and suffering of Syrian children, men and women, are of greater value than those of other civilian victims in other countries? Why, for example, is the President of the United States of America, and that country's Ambassador at the United Nation.   Turn their faces away and switching off their compassion from the plight of the hundred of thousands of people, migrants.   Who want to leave their harsh struggle for survival in their own countries, and move to the United States of America, in
