BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX - A RACE OF MIXED FORTUNES, WITH VETTEL REMAINING DOMINANT! THE END!

For atleast the top 3 teams, even for the winning Ferrari and Vettel, or the torrid fiasco suffered by Red Bull, as I have already recounted. 

And what of Team Mercedes and their intrepid duo, Hamilton and Bottas? Well, all credit to Team Mercedes and Hamilton, for having promoted themselves from a P9 start to Podium position P3. 

Having extricated himself from physical entanglement with the equally intrepid and less cautious Max Verstappen, with the good fortune which was not to be had by Max, whose race was fated to end prematurely. 

After him having has the most spectacular smash during the pre-race practice sessions. 

And who is to know, certainly not Toto Wolff, if Hamilton might not have promoted himself higher on the Podium. 

Had he and Team Mercedes been  more forceful and less tentative in challenging their tyres to go longer and faster than they had been expected to go. 

As Vettel and Ferrari had done. That Bottas was able to get as close as he did to Vettel, in the last few laps of the race, probably suggested that he might have won it. 

Had he not waited so long before mounting the persistent challenge he made at the end, but by which time it was too late.

So, for now, as we await the next opportunity for Team Mercedes to snatch a win, by winning the China Grand Prix. 

A well-deserved Big Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel and Team Ferrari for having won the Bahrain Grand Prix in style. 

And a Big Congratulations to Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas, for having extricated a P 2 and P 3 finish, when it was only Bottas' Podium which might have been most likely.

And to Verstappen, Ricciardo, Kimi and all other drivers who whose race ended prematurely, let the gods blow favourable winds towards you in China.
