NICO ROSBERG, FORMULA 1 WARRIOR'S JOB WELL DONE.BEST WISHES FOR THE JOURNEY AHEADNico Rosberg FORMULA 1 Kriegerin Job gut WÜNSCHE DONE.BEST für die Reise AHEAD)!.

Wow, who would have believed it, except Nico and, probably, his wife, that he had been contemplating leaving Formula 1 racing, and that, even if he had not won his first, and, probably last, Formula 1 World Championship, he might still have retired from it?

And so it was that, on Friday 2nd November 2016, Nico Rosberg, the proud man who had, just five days earlier, won his first World Championship, was fated to announced to a shocked world, that he was giving up Formula 1 racing. According to Rosberg, he had set himself the challenge of climbing his mountain, and had now achieved his dream, his aspiration, having remained consistent in doing so for the past 25 years.

And the world of Formula 1 racing and its fans are stunned; why, they are asking, does a man who demonstrably has so much potential, who has his fans and who has such a strong Formula 1 team as Mercedes, chosen to leave the field at such a time?

Yes, there is alot to be said for leaving or retiring when you are ahead, but, is it not the case that Rosberg has alot of resolve, motivation and aspiration in his Formula 1 tank?
Rosberg has been a formidable competitor to his colleague, Lewis Hamilton, and, it seemed to me, has a lot of fighting left in him.

Yet, he has made the decision to leave the competition, something which probably has more to do with Rosberg's weltanshauung, or worldview, with his personality, rather than with his ability as a racing driver. It does appear that, despite his successes, including having won 9 of the 2016 seasons races, just one less than his team mate, Hamilton, Rosberg has found the past 3 years of racing extremely tasking and challenging.

He has had to make his sacrifices, and might have remained committed to doing so, but now, having been happily married and with a 15 year old daughter to be the beacon of his and his wife's eyes, Rosberg is no longer willing to continue to make these sacrifices.

As he said, life is short - which it indeed is, comparatively speaking - and now that he has been there, done the races and, finally, having won and experienced the thrill of winning a Formula 1 World Championship, Rosberg has resolved to move on.

To find other challenges in living, challenges which migh not be as tasking or challenging as Formula 1 racing, might not constantly require him to live on 'the edge', with his adrenaline rushing through his body to catch up with his car rushing and vibrating through the time and space along which the racing circuit travels. But challenges which might give him as much or more pleasure in living an enjoyable life with his family and fellow humans.

There are drivers who have won more than one World Championships and others who aspire towards winning more than one, and that is fine, within the context of each person's worldview and options of finding pleasure and happiness in their living; which is ultimately what us humans should be aspiring to achieve.

It is just that, at least for now, that is not the route Rosberg has chosen for himself and his family.

Rosberg has what it takes to be successful in whatever career he now chooses for himself.

Good Luck Rosberg; and have a prosperous and and happy life!
