LEWIS HAMILTON AND NICO ROSBERG - BREAKING NEW! THE END.

Consequently, when Lewis and or Nico experience a setback, such as Lewis has done in his contention for the 2016 World Championship - which I contend he had no chance of winning, unless the gods have intervened and created chaos amongst the cars on the circuit - that is when their humility should shine through, and they should be saying or thinking, well, you know what, I have had a lot of success sofar, by winning many races, and, in Lewis's, saying, I have already won 3 world championship, so, Nico, you deserve this one!

Life is short, the man or woman said, and, like the rich or the elite, who seeks to salve their guilty conscience by thoughts of just accruing another million before becoming philantropic, while they are 'winning', it is at the price of others who are 'loosing.'

The longer you keep winning, the less time there is for others to do so. That is not to say you should not keep endeavouring to win, but, rather, that there are times when you stand to 'win more and in other ways', by not trying to win a championship, the winning of which, unless, as I said, the gods have intervened, you could not have won, especially, except in a pyrrhic manner.

And after all of this, you might be thinking, readers of this blog, what is the "breaking news"?

Well, the 'breaking news' is that Lewis Hamilton has posted on Instagram a cool and inspirational picture of him and Nico, as two young races aspiring towards becoming world champions. Lewis, in recalling the context of the picture, congratulates Nico on him having done everything a champion needed to do.

This post is a bit late but Lewis has done it and has done it in a thoughtful and fitting manner, and there is no reason to doubt his sincerity.

Well done, Lewis. With the air having been cleared, considering Nico having asked for Lewis' race strategy to be put to rest, both drivers and Mercedes should now be able to make a fresh and comradely start when the practice begins for the 2017 Formula 1 Season!

Having expressed my sadness - not anger - at how Lewis's race strategy unfolded in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, it is only fitting that I should express my pleasure - which I see as the ultimate purpose of living - at his expression of closure of the issue.

Much respect and appreciation, Lewis.

Since this post was penned, I have been made aware of the, initially shocking news that Rosberg has retired from Formula 1 racing, which just goes to show that, there are times when we do not get another chance to demonstrate our humility to others, and need to guard against such missed opportunities by making humility our guide.
