IT WAS WRITTEN IN THE STARS - AN ACCOUNT OF LIVES IMPACTED BY 'EVERYDAY ADVERSITIES.' PART 40.

'What we recall of our experiences of the past, tends to be a factor of how they impacted on our senses at the time, the strength of our continuing attachment to those experiences.

And the extent to which we have succeeded in assimilating them into our subsequent experiences and move on with our lives.'

But now is now, and what his and Nzuri's and Mzaliwa's minds were filled with.

Was the shocking thought of how long a time Kazaliwa would have to remain incarcerated before he would be at liberty to join them again as a family.

To walk, talk and interact with them and the world as a free man. Yes, 5 years is a long time to be deprived of your liberty.

Even if others who are not directed impacted by 'this every day tragedy', and the victims of Kazaliwa's offences against their person, might not think so, or have any views about it.

Analysed carefully, even though the thought might not have entered their minds.

Kazaliwa' parents and brother might have felt a sense of relief that they would now be freed of the terrible anxieties of not knowing where he was, and what he was doing.

To be continued!
