TURKEY'S 'ISRAELESQUE' ANNEXATION PLANS FOR SYRIAN TERRITORY.. PART 1.

'The doctrine of security by territorial expansionism and occupation is a pernicious and unjust doctrine. 

 Its application by the state of Israel, like others before it, towards the occupied Palestinian lands, is no more repugnant to the cause of justice, than it is to the state of Turkey applying it to the Syrian territory of Idlib.'
Turkey's government is fond of declaring its opposition to Israeli and American governments plans to annex occupied Palestinian lands.  

 As its seeks to give the impression that the Turks are the champions of Palestinians struggle to have their right to sovereign and independent nationhood realised.


This, at least, is what Turkey's government under President Erdogan would like the Palestinians and their genuine supporters and advocates to believe. 

 And yet, as is the way with these things, these apparent acts of  benevolence, all is not as it might appear. 

 Turkey, notwithstanding the high cost it is paying in hosting millions of Syrian refugees on its own soil and supporting others near and or on its borders, is not Saint.
