AM I ISLAMOPHOBIC, OR AN ISLAMOPHOBE? PART 4.

'Do we not then have to 'build bridges' to remove and/or reduce the differences between us; the things which are and represent obstacles, barriers to us becoming one people?

To be able to share the same space and time as one people, with our first and shared loyalty being to what has become our nation?

For example there is the recent and, to some extent, still bloody conflict between 'Islamic Caliphate' and its associate axis, such as Al Queda, Afghan Taliban, Nigeria's Boko Haram.

And other Islamist groups and armies in many parts of ethnically mixed countries of the world.

A reality which, if we are being reasonable, logical and pragmatic, is understandably going to increase the incidence of fear and hatred towards Islam and Muslims. In other words, an increase in Islamophobia.

So, getting back to the issue of, 'am I Islamophobic or an Islamophobe', is is really a matter of context and degrees.

Let us widen this out abit. Is it not the case that, all of us humans, for one reason or another.  Have or feel a certain unease, dislike, intolerance, prejudice, or even hatred towards other individuals, groups, organisation, peoples?

To be continued!
