FRENCH GRAND PRIX - TEAM MERCEDES STILL REIGNING SUPREME, BUT.....! PART 1.

Yes, it is true that the French Grand Prix on Sunday, except for the frantic but incident free start off the Grid, was probably not as exciting and gripping as the Practice and Qualifying sessions.

Granted that it was somewhat of a mundane affair, it still resulted in yet another 1-2 for Team Mercedes and their ace drivers, the now inimitable Lewis Hamilton and the 'renewed Valtteri Bottas.

So, in as much as, for all the teams and their drivers, Formula 1 racing is mostly about winning races and the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships.

The French Grand Prix has been a successful one for Team Mercedes.

A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas, therefore, for making it P.1 and P. 2.

Also a Very Big Congratulation to Team Ferrari and Charles Leclerc for making it to P.3.

Rather unfortunately for Sebastian Vettel, he had not been able to recoup any of the loss of morale he suffered during the Canadian Grand Prix, by having had his P.1 finish demoted to P.1.

Resulting in Hamilton having been promoted to P.1 and declared the winner of that race. Vettel's only saving grace, as it were, during the French Grand Prix, was to set down the Fastest Lap of the race.

Notwithstanding Team Mercedes and Hamilton winning the French Grand Prix, it is somewhat interesting that Hamilton seemed to have wholeheartedly joined the 'lets beat and kick the FI.

To be continued!
