JUST A THOUGHT - ON WHETHER HUMANS OR THE GODS ARE THE GREATEST. PART 2.

But is the 'God' of which the believers speak so grandly, really 'the greatest', let us say, in comparison with us mortal human beings? 

How many of us, for instance, having been placed in the dire situation of being, say, critically ill or chronically ill.  

And having the choice of choosing between the intervention of 'God', yes, let us say, 'our God', and a medical practitioner.  Yes, even one who might also believe in 'God'. 

Would choose to lie where we find ourselves, and ignore the intervention of the medical practitioner and wait for that of our 'God?' 


How many of us would do so, in the hope of proving that 'God is great or is the greatest?'

The Popes of Rome do not do so; they do not place their fate in 'the hand of God. 

At least, not as a first option. Their first port of call is to seek the medical intervention of their prestigious medical practitioners. 

It is 'their trust that they put into the hands of their God. Trusting, according to them, that their God will guide the thoughts and hands of their medical staff to do what they can to get them better.
