JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE DISINGENUITY AND/OR DELUSIONAL STATE OF THE BREXITEERS. THE END..!

In seeking her divorce from the EU, a divorce which she has initiated.  The British government and the Brexit activists and advocated are, it seems, never tired of repeating how much the still want to remain the EU's best friend. 

And for the EU to continue to be Britain's best friend. A status which can only be achieved by Britain remaining a member of the EU. 

Since, if it was possible for such a state to be achieved outside of the EU, then, would it not poses the question of; what would be the purpose of it, the European Union?

If it appears that the Brexiteers want, as it were, 'to have their cake and be able to eat it', and to be able do so without having to suffer the indignity of choking on 'Brexitopia', then, it is probably because it is so. 

Thus the appeal for the EU to 'be reasonable', to 'be fair', to 'not be vindictive towards a Britain' which is only endeavouring to give effect to the 'democratic will of her people.'  

For the EU to 'not do anything which could deny Britain having the best of both worlds, as she turns her back on the European Union, and the 'European project or Dream.' 

To cooperate with the British government to ensure that its quest to take Britain to the land of Brexitopia is a successful one. 

Not only for Britain, but for the countries of the European Union, which the British government and the Brexiteers want the EU to believe.

And so it is, that their is a spirit of disingenuity and delusion about the positioning and arguments of the Brexiteers. Something which could allude to  the nakedness of the Brexitopian dream. 

The need to talk up a very risky project, as if by doing so, it will remove the risks and increase the confidence of the British people that it is a viable undertaking. 

Even as the tide of uncertainty begins to create contradictory facts on the ground, by eroding the ground on which they are based. The economic and trade activities of the nation.
