FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX : IS LEWIS HAMILTON ABOUT TO ANNOUNCE HIS RETIREMENT FROM FORMULA 1? PART 1.

Lewis Hamilton is a 7 times Formula 1 World Champion Driver. 

And yes, being of the age that he now is, and when we compare it with that of other Formula 1 drivers before him, we know that he is likely to retire or have to retire in the next few years

However, as Lewis Hamilton's new Mercedes contract talks drag on, and on, and on, and on, like the proverbial ariston, it raises many questions.

Qestions such as, Is Lewis taking his fans for granted, by keeping them in the dark? Is he ignoring his fans? 

Is it likely that Lewis could seemingly, abruptly announce that he has retired from Formula 1 racing and will not be returning to the sports for the 2021 Formula 1 Grand Prix seasons? 




Questions such as, what is the reason/reasons for this long drawn out contract discussion? 

Is it about Lewis wanting more money than Mercedes are willing to pay him? 

Yes, is it about Lewis giving up on some of his principles?  Such as his championing of BLM and TakingAKnee?  

Is it really about the money and more money?

And so it is, that, whatever the reasons for Lewis Hamilton and Team Mercedes not having signed a contract yet, it reflects very badly on Hamilton. 

At least, from my perspective. This failure, this delay, has meant that Lewis's fans will have found themselves in an uncomfortable situation.
