No, he does not want to or have any desire to return to it. 

As much as a healthy person does not want to return to being a child or regress into or take refuge in childhood. 

It seems to be the case that Kazaliwa, in not being bitter about having done time. 

Is or might be of the view that it was right that he should have done it for the harm he has caused others, in the first count. 

And that, secondly, he had learnt positive lessons from having done that time and having both the negative and positive experiences he has had.
 



In fact, such is his world-view, that he will at times considered that there were no 'negative lessons.' 

That all the lessons he had learnt were positive, because of what he made of them, and how they have impacted upon his life. 

All of which can be construed as evidence of Kazaliwa's maturity.

But yes, there were times when his post-jail relationship with his parents would become very fraught, very strained and volatile.
