JUST A THOUGHT - ON HOW 'FAILING COUNTRIES' IN THE AMERICAS CANNOT RESOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS BY RETURNING TO THE 'OLD WAYS.' PART 3.

In whose interests their former colonial society was established to serve, but is now neither serving that nor the interests of the now supposedly independent nation.

In whose interests are their countries being built and run for? Who are the present citizens of these countries; to whom or what do they own their loyalty? 

Are they still being motivated by greed and committed to maintaining  the Americas as a paradoxical and anachronistic version of 'Old Europe'? 

As a museum of the vestiges of 'Old Europe'? 

Do the majority of the people of the Americas even want to be open and honest with themselves, about their past and how it has and is continuing to impact on their present and future? 

And, if they cannot, or are not willing to have this honest and open reflection and examination, of how they have really come to be where they are, now. 

Then how can they take themselves to the better place, the more equitable, peaceful, just and secure society they want to build, and not just magic into a reality?

Well, you might be thinking, that is not all that different from what was taking place in Europe. 

Long before Christopher Columbus and the Portuguese and Spanish conquistadors set their feet upon the lands of the 'New World' in the 14th century.
