JUST A THOUGHT - ON HOW 'FAILING COUNTRIES' IN THE AMERICAS CANNOT RESOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS BY RETURNING TO THE 'OLD WAYS.' PART 6.

Now, it is the case that, there seems to be very little happening in the 'Americas', particularly the countries of South America, which is positive and pleasing to hear about or to see. 

Now, of course the real story, as it were, about what is happening in that hemisphere.  

Will be more complex, more varied, more nuanced that those of us who do not live there, are being told about by the popular and specialist media. 

Depending on their particular perspectives, what they want to say about what is happening and what is not.

We have and are still hearing about the apparently endless hell of Mexico.  Where hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Mexicans are having their lives extinguished.  

And their happiness blighted by the murderous gangs which have become so much an integrated part of private and public Mexican live. 

The murderers who have almost become an ineradicable cancer in the body of Mexican society. 

But still, Mexico, although having been robbed of a large part of its land mass, by 19th century American governments.  

Still have millions of its people whose lives might not be directly affected by the cancerous reign of the murderous gangs.

Go further south, still, and there is Honduras, another country where its people are being subjected to lives besotted by political malevolence and oppression by murderous gangs.
