We all have some control or influence over how we get to our destination. The Muslims have a saying, inshallah, which, as I understand it, means Allah willing or it is the will of Allah. In  other words, some Muslims, and, indeed, people of other faiths, believe that, whatever happens to them in their lives, is the will of Allah or the gods. You will hear people, reflecting on some major events in their personal lives or unrelated, trying to comprehend it and concluding that 'it must have happened for a reason.' The Spa-Francorchamps Grand Prix was a very eventful race for various reasons. For Nico Rosberg, it was eventful in that it has given him his first win here, and, for Lewis Hamilton, it has enabled him to make a very good recovery from taking his penalty position by starting in the penultimate position on the grid, and finishing the race in P2 position. I had suggested that, if the gods did not showing him a great deal of favour, Lewis might have finished in P5 or P6.  The fact that Lewis Hamilton rubbished my attempt at predicting what might have been, is really no great feat on his part, since, in another time and place, he might well have ended up winning the race.
