LEWIS HAMILTON AND THE UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX - ONE HAMMERED; THREE TO GO. CONSISTENCY MATTERS!
Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes Team for having won the United States Grand Prix last Sunday. Yes, Hamilton, again, won it, having been aided by a great start, which he really needed, as his colleague, Nico Rosberg, also had a good start, but which did not prevent the unyielding Daniel Ricciardo from overtaking him. Had it not been for the VSC having to be resorted to, Ricciardo might well have been able to maintain his second place position throughout the race, which, all others things remaining equal, might have resulted in Rosberg not moving from P3 to P2. Which would have further reduced his Championship points lead over Lewis Hamilton. That, however, was not to be the case, as the intrepid Max Verstappen, who, having brashly dismissed the advised caution of his team, earlier, was soon to be mercilessly and cruelly slapped down by fate, when his engine failed and he had to humiliatingly coaxed his stricken car off the race track.
