Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes Team for having won the United States Grand Prix last Sunday. Yes, Hamilton, again, won it, having been aided by a great start, which he really needed, as his colleague, Nico Rosberg, also had a good start, but which did not prevent the unyielding Daniel Ricciardo from overtaking him. Had it not been for the VSC having to be resorted to, Ricciardo might well have been able to maintain his second place position throughout the race, which, all others things remaining equal, might have resulted in Rosberg not moving from P3 to P2. Which would have further reduced his Championship points lead over Lewis Hamilton. That, however, was not to be the case, as the intrepid Max Verstappen, who, having brashly dismissed the  advised caution of his team, earlier, was soon to be mercilessly and cruelly slapped down by fate, when his engine failed and he had to humiliatingly coaxed his stricken car off the race track. What gives you or me, or the state the right to deny a woman the right to have an abortion, thereby denying her certain rights over her body, but increasing her responsibilities? It seems to me that, in general, women are not as callous as men. Consequently, when a woman has had to suffer the shock, pain and anguish of finding herself pregnant - by a man - with a fetus which she has not prepared herself for bringing into the world and nurturing, it might be no less than the beginning of a nightmare. She then has to go through the anguish of considering and deciding what she should do; should she proceed with the pregnancy and give birth to a baby she does not want, or is prepared give up what she might have to give up, or should she have an abortion? If such a desperate woman were to find herself living in a country like the Irish Republic, she would find that her country's response to her predicament is an hard-nosed one, steep in Catholic hypocrisy and false piet

Women in Argentina have of recently been making more vocal their demands that Argentinian men and society accord them more respect and protection from harassment from men. There is nothing new about this situation and demand. Women in probably all countries upon the earth, are being taken advantaged off and oppressed and abused by men. Men who seem to think it is is within the normal order of the universe that women's primary purpose in life, is to serve them and raise their families, so that the cycle of oppression, like the rising and the setting of the Sun, can be continued. So, what is it about men why they are such a thorn in the heart and body of women? Why are they such a predominant force for evil, for oppression and conflict in the world? Is it the case that men, individually and societally, are genetically aggressive and destructive? Do men, as opposed to women, in general, have a relentless tendency to dominate and suppress all that is before them? And
