BORIS JOHNSON, THERESA MAY AND PRINCE SALMON AND THE KILLING OF THE YEMENIS! PART 7

If I may say so, Madam, probably well put, but, Madam, well, is it not a tad, you know, racist and elitist? What do you want me to say, Boris? It is as it is. I did not invent the policies which I am now expected to implement in respect of the people of the Middle East, or any other regions of the world. These policies have been in place for many decades, if not centuries, and I am only doing what is expected of me.  Like you, Boris, I am no more than a functionary, albeit a key one, within a system which is meant to further the interests of the privileged few. Although, as luck or good fortune would have it, .. There you go again, Boris, that insidious smirk on your jesteral face again. Are you implying that 'the privileged few', or 'TPFs', are not lucky or fortunate, Boris? Well, no, Madam, I was just contemplating on the fact that the fate of the poor and 'unpriviledged masses' should simply be attributed to nothing more complex than that they ha

Indeed, the proper application of the lessons from the Iraq war, would have been for the west not to have intervened militarily in Libya, instead of believing that they could have had a successful military intervention by simply decapitating the country's government, and leaving the rebels to sort out the mess.  The delusional attempt to reassure itself that 'it would be different this time', proved to be just that; a delusion. The result of such 'limited intervention', of course, is that Libya has degenerated into anarchy, which it is still dying from, many years after the intervention; as is Iraq, and, as it is portending to be Syria, if the West was to have its own way.  The West's intervention in Libya has made it a refuge and breeding ground for Isis, destabilised many of the African countries to its south. As well as having led to the brutal murder of over 30 poor Egyptian Christian workers by Isis, and seriously damaged America's relationship

This is a short video of birds, including Tits, feeding on a largely denuded tree. Please take a look and see if you find anything food worthy of some quiet and enjoyable contemplation, and, if so, enjoy, if you will.

As for your comment about arms being made and sold to be used, Boris. let us be frank with you. Other than to pose the question, to what use can arms be put? I have no comment to make, Boris, because there are some things for which no amount of comment will be sufficient or are necessary. But, Madam May, it is such a traumatic and, well.. Yes, Boris. You are going to say it is an 'immoral' and almost uncivilised situation. Well, it would have, Boris, had the Yemenis been more like us British, or us Europeans, instead of being so much like the Afghans, who seem to have this great penchant for fighting among themselves.  Somebody has to pay the blood price in these situations, Boris, and it has been the 'norm' throughout history, that it should be 'them' and not 'us' who pay that price. Something else, you should bear in mind, Boris, and it is this. Civilisation is not a discrete concept or entity. Rather, it is but one extreme of the 'un

At the same time, although the Americans might not support the jihadists and other Islamic extremist proxy armies, such as some of those supported by Saudi Arabia, they would not have been discomforted by those groups inflicting damage onto the Syrian government and its coalition supporters. As we have seen in Isis' recapturing of Palmyra. They might have some concern about Isis destroying what is left of ancient Palmyra, but that might not be sufficient spoil their private pleasure to see the elements of Syrian army being put to flight. The principle of 'my enemies' enemies are not my friends but them hurting my enemies is not my problem,'  prevails. Of course, that might be the case in the present or short-term, but it is a dangerous and myopic view to take, when one is dealing with the volatility of armed conflict.  You should never make the assumption that your most ardent enemy cannot or will not become your actual or tactical or strategy ally tomorrow, the d

For Christ's sake, Boris, what are you on about? I am getting the impression that you not only learn fast, but you forget what you have learnt even faster. Let me repeat, Boris, although I find it so irksome having to repeat myself to my "Very fine Foreign Secretary."  Of course, Boris, some people might really think I consider you to be my 'Fucking foolish Foreign Secretary', but, let us leave that one floating in the fetid air of the Yemen war. But, Boris, I repeat. Her Majesty's Government is a honourable... Have I said something funny, Boris? You damn right, Boris, I did not say anything funny. After all, since when does the term, 'honourable', elicits mirth? So, take that damn grin off your stupid looking face, Boris. Can you not see that I am trying, under very testing circumstances, to be serious? I beg your pardon, Madam. I did not mean to infer any opposition. Now, as I was saying, Boris. Her Majesty's government is a ho

Having a good vantage point can increase the chances of making better decisions, which might not be populist ones. Some people will see the recapturing of Aleppo by the Syrian government and its international coalition of allies as a defeat for, not only the proxy armies which were, effectively, occupying eastern Aleppo as a bridge-head for the coalition of western and Sunni countries which have been waging war against the Syrian government, but also for Nato/EU's geo-political and economic interests in that part of the world. Consequently, is is not surprising that many commentators and western and other politicians will be critically examining the recapture of eastern Aleppo, and its predicted impact on the continuation of the war, to attribute blame the west.   It can be taken for granted that many of the armed groups and proxy armies which have been directly and indirectly doing the West's bidding, by attacking and being a torn in the side of the Syrian gov
