For example, will they be making their exploration as 'objective and independent explorers', an almost impossible task, or as 'victims', actual or perceived, of history? And what will be their emotional state? Will they be driven by the vengeful and even understandable, but irrational anger and hatred of a people who are the secondary psychological and social 'victims', of crimes against humanity, perpetrated against their ancestors? And now focus that hatred and anger, indiscriminately, onto the descendants of the racial group from which the perpetrators of those crimes originates? Because, here, again, I hold the view that those crimes were committed by the ruling and elite classes, with the masses of the ordinary European populate, being probably no more than the instruments they used.
