And I have my good days, when I am more focused, more on track with my thoughts and my memory recall is better than it is at other times.  When I am able to communicate more easily with those around me.  The care staff in this home, whom I have now become more accustomed to, do take good care of me.  I have my own key worker, who I have established a good relationship with, and who will take me for whatever appointments I have outside of this home. But, notwithstanding all of this, I remain conflicted about what is happening to me.  Why I really cannot return to my own home, even though my family have explained it to me, repeatedly, I believe.  They have told me that the authorities want to sell my home to pay the cost of me living in the care home I am now living in.  Even though they have told me that, because of the vascular dementia which I have, I would not be safe living on my own in my own home.  That I need people to care for me. Yes, I am the Squirrel who has damaged her tail, and well might you wonder how it came to be.  What tale I have to tell, of how I came to have damaged my beautiful strong tail.  Was it by accident or by design, that this sorry tale should have befallen me and caused me to suffer the damage I have, to my tail. Like a women might be and is susceptible to various misfortunes, such as dental health problems, hair lost problems, affected shape problems.   At her most vulnerable stages, such as during pregnancy and nursing her children.   Could it that, so have I been dealt with most cruelly, in my own stages of heightened vulnerability?  As I search for food, as I applied, as nature had intended me to do, myself to feeding and caring for those who are even more vulnerable than me; my litter. My young ones? I have lost all the fur on my beautiful tail. The very tail which helps to give me added agility, as I become the skillful acrobatic squirrel.  Who is able to

So, what is it with nature and women, that women should, of both the male and the female of the species, be the one who nature has demanded the most of, should appear to have fated to suffer most of the pain and tribulations which nature has, at times, seemingly recklessly short-changed? An example of which we can see from the fate of this nursing Squirrel, which has lost all the fur from its tail. A tale which is so much a part of its tools for feeding itself and its young. I wonder what tale lies behind her damaged tail? Please take a look, and contemplate on what you can see and/or hear.

Another Massive Congratulation   to Valtteri Bottas, for having won the Austrian Grand Prix, and adding another tick to his 2017 season's tally of wins.  Great achievement, Bottas, after having  given yourself a truly exceptional start, by moving off the Grid at the precise moment that all the lights went green.  The was probably the best example of optimum synchronicity between man and machine, in the history of Formula 1 racing. Something which might never happen again. With such a start, how could you not have won this race?  With such brilliant driving, Vettel and Hamilton are going to find it difficult, if not impossible to make the 2017 season a 2 car competition.
