It is arguable that President Kim Jung-un of North Korea, is holding the world to ransom. In the first instance, the people of North Korea, South Korea, Japan, and other surrounding countries are being held hostages. And, secondly, he is holding them and the the rest of the world, hostage to an uncertain fate.  The Americans have been rather careless over the years, about who they label 'evil', but it is Kim Jung-un who probably most fits the definition of this label, as he recklessly pursues his ambition 'to destroy America.' Is Kim going to attack Guam, in which case, it would also be an attack on the United States of America, on South Korea, and on the rest of North Korea's neighbours, including China?  Or is he going to limit his assault on 'the free and unfree worlds' to just talking tough and irresponsibly, as he continue to test out and develop his now increasingly more updated and powerful toys? Such is the way of a child of a certain age, even pre-mobile infant, that he/she is given to repeating, persistently, the behaviour which elicits the response they aspire to elicit, having found out that it likely to do so.
