Well, the reality is that it has gone ahead, and, although President Uhuru Kenyatta has has won it, with less than 40 per cent of the electorate bothering to vote.  A phenomenon which is the increasing reality of probably most 'democracies', that the electorate has become alienated from the same old same old ritual.  Something which, rightly has to be a matter of serious concern, and requires President Kenyatta to take notice of.  And ensure that he demonstrably ensures that he 'rules' the country for all the people and not only or mostly those who support him.  Even though it might well be the case that he and his ruling coalition have the support of most of the Kenyan people. The result of this demonstration of poor judgement and machiavellianism, has been that Raila Odinga might not only have needlessly taken his political party or movement into the political wilderness. At the risk of actually or appearing to be contradicting what I have already said about the lack of credibility of Kenya's Supreme Court.  Regarding the Justices, for various purported reasons, not turning up to hear a previous case regarding the country's Presidential elections.  I do believe that, the Court's decision in validating the most recent Presidential Elections, and opening the door for President Uhuru Kenyatta to assume another Presidential term, is of great service to Kenya and her people. It is clear that the Opposition Leader and his party hierarchy, has been set on using the Judiciary to get their desired outcomes.  Pertaining to most or many aspects of resolving the political controversy affecting Kenya for the past several months. There is, of course, a brutal and probably ancient psychological and military tactic to all of this.  Which is that, in any given situation where a people have been or become alienated and disaffected from their government, and/or its actions or inaction towards them.  There will be different degrees of support for any action taken to oppose the government and its policies.  With the intensity of the feeling of opposition increasing over time, and dependent on the government's reaction to the acts of opposition.  This being so, "the Iron Fist" response is the equivalent of trying to exterminate, not only today's, but 'tomorrow's' and 'future' opposition, by killing everybody today. So, it is refreshing and encouraging to see the government of Pakistan. Is taking miniscule, but positive steps to, religiously, take the country out of the anachronistic hands of the dictatorship of the  religious and tribal demi-humans, and bring it into the 21st Century.  To pulling the country, however reluctantly, out of the dark ages, and into the Age of Enlightenment.  Except for people of similar mentality to the these Islamist extremists, few people will have any sympathy with them.  Chances are that most intelligent people will wish the government of Pakistan every success, and hope that it will not restrict its action against these extremists to just this occasion.  After all, these are the same kind of Islamist extremists who are responsible for killing and injuring many hundreds of innocent Egyptians in the Sinai.  They are of the kind of religious extremists who beheaded dozens of Egyptian Christians in Libya.  They are also the same kind of extr

A very Big Congratulation to Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton and their Team Mercedes, for having finished the 2017 Formula 1 Season, in grand style.  With a 1-2 finish at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit.
