JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON WHETHER 'RACE' OR CULTURE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT IN DETERMINING OR INFLUENCING ALLIANCES. PART 2.

Many of them would oftentimes, rightly, wondered if, or suspected that most of the perpetrators - and the victims  - might have been perpetrated by Black Britons.   Whose ethnic origins would be likely to be of West Indian or Caribbean background.  Not that they would necessarily have been born in those regions, but that it would be likely that their parents would have originated from their. The situation is, it seems, very different today. Black Britons are, it appears, no longer of predominantly West Indian origin, and many of them might not have been born in Britain.  They and/or their parents might have moved to Britain from Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Pacific Islands, et al.  With many of them having not a great deal in common, except probably that the colour of their skins, and, in some cases, a shared religious faith, which might be Islam, Christianity, Hinduism or Buddhism.  Outside of their apparently shared physical attributes and probably shared

JUST AN IRONIC THOUGHT - ON THE PERCEPTIONS OF PRESIDENT PUTIN'S VICTORY IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION ELECTIONS. PART 4.

'Yo, Vlad', he recalled the rather mischievous voice of  Emmanuel Macro, beckoning him.  President Putin remembered how he had exclaimed, 'Kristos', Christ, upon hearing Macron, since, as was the case with the British Prime Minister, he had not been expecting the call.  Of course, he was not sure that Macron was calling to congratulate him.  So, he, Putin, just confirmed that he was indeed Vlad Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, and listened, expectantly.  He did not have to wait long, before Emmanuel rejoined by saying. 'Hey, Vlad. Just want to say a big congratulations  on your victory.  I hope it stave off, if not thaw out some of the extreme and phenomenal cold blowing towards you from the West.'  And, before President Putin had time to respond, to thank Macron, he, like Theresa May, before, also suddenly hung up the phone.  How was it, President Putin, might have thought, that 'congratulations' could seemi

Yet, President Putin felt that he could definitely remembered Theresa May saying to him. 'Is that you, Lad, sorry, I mean Vlad'?  To which he replied, in Russian, as he was not certain who the person was, 'Da', followed by him asking, 'Kto ty'? Who are you?  The President remembered the British Prime Minister's cryptic tone, as she replied.  'It is Theresa, the Prime Minister of  Her Majesty's government. I am just ringing you to offer her majesty's government's congratulations.   On your success in having orchestrated, I mean, secured another term of office as President of the Russian Federation.'  President Putin could vividly remembered the British Prime Minister's apparent disdain for him.  As she ended the call, by telling him to enjoy his victory, because she would make him pay for the "SSI."  Which he, President Putin, being as astute as he can be and with his background in Russia's

JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE ASHLEY CARE CENTRE'S CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS CARING FOR THE VULNERABLE ELDERLY. PART 2.

After all, have we not all heard about some of the dreadful things which can and do happen in some of these homes?  And, do we not, as is our tendency, generalise what we have heard and, probably seen, apply them to all care and nursing homes?  And so it is, that, before we fall into the hands of oblivion, of the gods, for those of us who are believers.   Do we not hope and pray that, if we have to be placed in a care or nursing home, it should be a good one?  It should be one where the staff are considerate, caring and will treat and care for us well. As well as we hope they would have wanted to be treated. Probably one of the biggest fear that older people who have to become dependant on other to care for them have, is that of being placed in a care and/or nursing home.  Where they will be expected to live out the closing years of their lives. The fear is that of moving from the known to the unknown. From the familiar to the unfamiliar.  The fear of probably being tak

But, of course we do know that the Sergei Skripal tragedy and its implications for the Russian Federation and the Western Axis.  Was no nightmare, even though its occurrence and repercussions might have been, and, indeed, could be nightmarish. Which is why President Putin's somewhat hazy recollection of having received several telephones calls from political leaders of the Western Alliance, might have been met with some curiosity.   And yet, seemingly as clearly as a beautiful and sunny day in Summer, the President could swear that he had received telephones calls from these eminent leaders.  All of them congratulating him on having won the President Elections to serve as President of the Russian Federation for the next 6 years.  A full one third more years than the recently elected Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, can serve in her 4th term as Chancellor.  And, of course, although there is no limit on how many times a Chancellor can serve in that

It is normal diplomatic practice or protocol for the leaders of countries to offer their congratulations to other leaders who have just won leadership elections.  This does not mean that they have to support or be the friends of those leaders. It is just something which is required by prudent diplomacy.  You are hoping for better relations, positive changes when you perceive them to be needed, and therefore keeping the doors open. Which is why we might expect that the leaders of Europe, the United States of America, and the Americas.   Irrespective of the current 'Russophobia' which is being mass produced by the Western media, governments and ruling elites.  Would want to offer President Vladmir Putin, their countries' congratulations on him winning another term of office as President of the Russian Federation. So, it might have been the case that President Putin was dreaming, or that he was somewhat intoxicated with the euphoria of the President

JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE SKRIPAL TRAGEDY AND THE FOLLY OF GOVERNMENTS. THE END OF ....!

Image
Since governments will always tend to deny or mitigate any action or inaction which places them in a bad light, and to take credit for those which confer credit on them. What is clear from the atrocious crime which has been carried out against several dozens British citizens.  Some or all of them unsuspectingly, is that their does not appear to be any logic behind it.  There is no obvious reasons for the Russians to have wanted to kill Sergei and his daughter, over 7 years after him being freed in a spy swap.  Now, if the British investigators have found evidence of foul play surrounding the death of Sergei's wife and son, then, that is something which is yet to be declared.  If it does transpire that the attack on Sergei was part of a vendetta by the Russian State.   Then, for the Russian government to have given the order for the attack to be carried out, at what is a most inauspicious phase in British/Russian relations.   Would, it seems, an act of gross leade
