BRITISH GRAND PRIX - FERRARI PROVE TOO MUCH FOR MERCEDES, RESULTING IN AN EPIC RACE! THE END..!

Image
No, Lewis should not ignore it. He should just find a constructive way of focusing and converting his negative energies into advancing his Championship prospects.  As he had done during the race; as soon as he allowed his team to do the work they are there to do.  And stopped himself sliding down the slippery slope of self-doubt, instead of remaining calm and focused, even more than he had been before. All of which makes it a bit, well, lacking in wide perspective, that Hamilton was not a bit more magnanimous at the end of the race.  So much so that he felt unable to join Martin Brundle at the end for a few words on the his race.  You see, considering he could have come off so much worse, another Dnf, for example, Lewis could have done his cause and his fans so such a great service.  By simply saying, man, this thing could have come off so much more badly, that I 'thank god' I, my Team and me, made it to P.2. But he did not; not in so many words, at least

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON 'KNOWING OURSELVES'; MAKING THE JOURNEY OF! PART 5.

There is a verse in the Bible which poses the question; 'what does it profit a person, to gain the world and loses their soul.'  As is recounted in the parable the Christian Christ being tempted by the 'Devil' on the mount.  With the latter offering him all that he could see - which was probably a lot of desert - if only he would bow down and worship him.  Now, without making any grand claims about what the soul is and what it is not.  We could interpret the essence of this saying as meaning that.  It can be futile for a person to turn their backs on their principles, family or friends, even their own people, in order to try to 'make it in the world.' This is also a challenge which can confront those who 'seek to know themselves.'  They can risk turning their backs of the world which they have know all their lives, and withdraw into themselves, physically, socially and psychologically.  Shut out the 'outside world', as it is so

Very Big Congratulation to Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen and Team Ferrari, for having, nearly, unequivocally, placing themselves on P.1 and P.3.  And to Lewis Hamilton and Team Mercedes, for having contrived P.2 during the the British Grand at Silverstone on Sunday! Lewis Hamilton has been very accurate about appearing to be singing Ferrari's praises, even before the British Grand Prix, about how quick they are.  A performance which nobody, having seen how Seb's car almost left Hamilton's Silver Arm in a state of slow motion on the Grid, as car and racer dashed off like a nuclear powered arrow.  Only to be followed by Kimi's Ferrari, but with the absence of the masterful performance of his team mate.  Resulting in Kimi repeating, though not to the same severity, the same fate on Hamilton which Vettel had visited upon Bottas during the French Grand Prix.  Yes, Kimi's recklessness, a mistake which he acknowledged, fortunately for Hamilton,

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON MATTERS OF GOD AND HUMANS, AND 'GOD' AS A SYMBOL OF OUR ASPIRATION FOR SECURITY. PART 2.

And so it would be reasonable, human and logical that we should be guided by the presumption that no sentient god would expect of or place the condition on any of us, devote or not.  To not engage in dialogue with and question the very basis of their being, their authority and their supposed power over us and other things.  Simply because we believe, we fear and we supposedly love the gods.  Even when we are not able to see, hear and behold them in their reputed magnificence.  Even when it is not in the best of the human intellect, to cast aside our tendency to apply empiracism, reason and logic to our investigation of all things.  Including, and, even, especially the concept of sentient gods, within and contiguous to our perceptual world. Virtues and power which apparently grows stronger and more omnipotent, because the gods are invisible to us.  Even thought, according to the theocrats, the believers, all of us humans, all things, are visible to the god

But this time, they much contend with the probably relentless challenge from both Team Ferrari and Team Red Bull.  As well as the other spirited teams and racers lower down the order.  Hamilton and Team Mercedes must pull off the achievement of having a great start, in extricating themselves from the big threat of being jumped by both or either Vettel or Raikkonen, or, indeed, any of the other competitors.  It might well be the case that Vettel will demonstrate more circumspect than he has done in the French Grand Prix.  But that is not something that Hamilton and Team Mercedes can take for granted.  After all, Vettel and Team Ferrari have a championship to win; if they can. They, Team Mercedes, must ensure that they keep out of the way, and the best way to do that, is to take of like a hare or road hopper at the start of the race. Plus all the other essential things which Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas have to do.  Such as having the appropr

The English Football team has done a great job, in having unequivocally beaten the Swedish Football team, to qualify for a  semi-final place in the World Cup, which is currently taking place in Russia.  Thus they are moving from strength to strength in their struggle achieve the big prize; that of becoming the football world cup champion for 2018. And so it was that, with the British football team having done their duty and made Britain proud, at this juncture of the world cup championship.   Lewis Hamilton, with the 110 per cent application of Team Mercedes, resolved not to let the nation and Formula 1 fans down. And he did not fail. Far from it. Instead, in a most thrilling manner, Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes contrived and worked in near perfect harmony.   To create and craft Hamilton's 6th Pole position at the Silverstone Circuit of Britain's Grand Prix track. So, A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Hamilton, and to Team Ferrari

Faunal And Floral Interactions!

Image
Whether we humans are aware of it or not, life and living is sustained by a certain amount of interaction between all or most things, including us humans.  There is an interaction between the flowers and the little creatures which help to fertilise them, and between the rains and the rays of the Sun which nurtures and bring them to maturity.  And then, there is the interaction between us humans and the faunal world which sustains and gives us pleasure. Please take a look at this video and see if it brings you any pleasure! And, if so, do enjoy!
