JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON MATTERS OF GOD AND HUMANS, AND 'GOD' AS A SYMBOL OF OUR ASPIRATION FOR SECURITY. THE END....

While the Muslims have resorted taking the submissivist approach, and declaring events to being 'the will of Allah.'  Never have the gods been given to declaring themselves to humans and, directly address themselves to us. Why, then, should anybody be reluctant to question the gods and challenge them to speak for themselves?  Instead of, apparently and deceptively, through the various clergies, prophets, disciples, mystics and misfits, et al.   Yes, humans should not be afraid of their gods or to talk to them.  Even as, in all appearance and truth, it is humans who talk for their gods.  Who animate them and give them what little life and what power, great and small, they believe them to have.  Just as how the evolution of the Cosmos, and of the Earth could only benefit from the destructive presence of humans. ' So could humans only benefit from the removal of the divisive and destructive presence of their gods and theistic religions. If your

But I do find it difficult to understand why he ignored his team by not stopping when they instructed him to do so.  Thereby possibly, if not probably doing further damage to his car, and risking compromising his achievement during the Grand Prix?  If you are a team player, which you need to be, in order to win grand prix races.   Then you do need to trust your team, and, if the team instruct you to stop the car, then you have to trust that they are telling you to do so for a very good reason, and you need to stop the car.  Just as how when the team reassured Hamilton during the last Grand Prix, the British one, that the car, despite it being shunted by Kimi, was good to drive, and it was proved to be so.  So should Hamilton reign in his impetuosity, and stop when he is instructed to do so.  If one stage of the Grand Prix, such as Q3, is compromised, it is vital that nothing is done to compromise the race itself. To ensure that this is so, it is vital that the dr

A very big Congratulation to Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari, and to Valtteri Bottas and Team Mercedes, for having placed their cars on the Podium for the German Grand Prix.  With Sebastian Vettel at P.1, Valtteri Bottas at P.2, and Kimi Raikkonen at P.3. Yes, what has become of Lewis Hamilton, in all of this? That Hamilton should not have progressed to being on the Podium, is probably symptomatic of how unremarkable, atleast, upto Q3, his weekend Practice had been.  Neither of the Mercedes cars had been able to set the fastest lap during either Practice 1 or Practice 2.  And probably what had been worse, Practice 3 was effectively and literally a washout for both cars, with the heavy down pour depriving them of all but a couple of minutes of practice. As if he had not had a sufficiently pedestrian Practice 1 and 2 sessions, and uneventful Practice 3 session, Lewis Hamilton''s Qualifying session was to come to an even more frustrating and incred

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON LIVING IN THE CULTURAL BORDERLANDS OF THE MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY! THE END......

As the hope of a new life, free of the privations of economic blight attracts hundreds of thousands, millions of people from the desperate regions of the world to Europe and the United States of America.  To be met by the fear and rejection of many of the latter's people.  It is important to be mindful of the fact that people are resources with which and who are capable of building a stronger and more inclusive nation.  If they are prudently assimilated and led into doing so. JUST A THOUGHT - ON SALUTING THE MEMORY OF MADIBA NELSON MANDELA, AND THE FOLLY OF EXPECTING MIRACLES! THE END..

This is probably it is no easy matter living the live of  a living hero. It surely is the case that it is easier to be a dead hero than a living one.  Since it is likely to be no more than a matter of time, before all heroes  are revealed as no more than mere mortal.  It is thin boundary separates a national hero from becoming failed national leader.  They are, or could be, just different sides of the same coin.  As we have seen from Robert Mugabe, from Daniel Ortega, Eduardo dos Santos  to some extent, from Fidel Castro, Nicolas Maduro, Jacob Zuma, et al. It is said that the 'good die young', but, if that is so, although both the good and the bad die at all ages. Then, the good reputation of heroes is likely to become more compromised the longer they live.  Probably mostly because of the improbability of them being able to satisfy the expectations which the masses place on them.  To transform their undesirable conditions and realities, into more favoura

I am not sure if this is only something which is specific to me and/or others who do not live inn the lands of the great and famous.  The countries of birth of the Nelson Mandelas, the Simon Bolivars, the Mao Zedong.   The Amilcar Cabral, the Agostinho Netos, the Nkrumahs, the Jerry Rawlings, the Thomas Sankaras, the Fidel Castros.   The George William Gordons, the Nannys and Paul Boggles. The Vladimir Lenins, the Hugo Chavezes.  The Norman Manleys and the Bustamantes and Lumumbas. And the countless other heroes, demi-gods and personified evil men and women who have blessed their people with their courage and inspiration.  Or cursed them with their inhumane actions. Or both. Yes, I am not sure if it is only to me, that the memories of such men and women, and the deeds they have done or inspired to be carried out, seem to be forever fading.  No sooner than they have departed this world. I am not sure if this is why 'heroes' must seek to immortalise themsel
