THE FANATICS OF BANGLADESH ARE TRYING TO MURDER PROGRESS

Why, you might ask, do some people become insecure and fearful when confronted  developments which advance the cause of human progress?  Probably even more significant is the issue regarding the kind of people who become fearful.

 Prior to Neil Armstrong landing on the Moon, many people were concerned that such a thing could lead to catastrophic events, as it was seen as man or humans invading the domain of the gods.  There are, it seems, among us, people who make it their god damned business to 'protect the gods' and to do so by committing all manner of unspeakable crimes against their fellow humans.

 How absurd and ironic is this, that anybody should be so unlearned, ignorant and intellectually challenged, to think that the gods need to be protected from physically vulnerable, but intellectually extremely capable humans?

 This, the ignorance and cretinous nature of the 'god protectors', is of course the very thing which makes it impossible to reason with the kinds of people who butchered innocent Bangladeshi men and women, whom they accuse of  infringing this and that religious dictum and dogma.  

 What is more, is the fact that the gods which they presume to be protecting and on whose behalf they are committing these barbarous acts, are quite unable to call them to account and tell them to desist, because there are no sentient gods; they simply do not exist. 

 So, just as how reasonable people cannot reason with these nefarious people who are chopping up, beheading, and otherwise brutally killing people who are of more value to humans than they are, so are reasonable people unable to ask the gods to intervene and stop their supposed disciples from committing this madness.

 It is unlikely that the ignorant barbarians who are murdering people all over the world, because of the faiths, their beliefs or lack of beliefs, will prevail in stopping the advancement of individual freedom, and the progress of the human race.

 The advancement of humans is too important to be held ransom by religious barbarians of whatever faith.

 Life is for living, and, with humans having so little time to dwell on the earth, do not spend it worrying about or serving the gods; live your life to its fullest and strive to inflict no pain on your fellow humans.
